The KBO season rolls along with five new series starting Tuesday at 5:30 am EST, and if all goes well this could be the final set of series without fans in the stands.
The league has begun preparations to welcome back fans on a limited basis and expect to have them back at games as early as Friday.
One team that KBO diehards will be itching to see live and in person is the Kiwoom Heroes, who will chase their 11th win in 12 games when they host the Doosan Bears.

Heroes are Red Hot
Surprisingly, the Heroes opened up as small home underdogs on Tuesday. This will be their first meeting in 2020 versus the defending champs, and they’ll be up against Hui Kwan Yu, whose 5-1 record is a bit deceiving.
Last time out, he was rocked for 11 hits and six runs in just 2.1 innings against light hitting SK, and over his last five outings he has more walks than strikeouts. His 4.66 ERA and 1.71 WHIP aren’t impressing anyone, and the only reason there aren’t more losses beside his name is because he’s been blessed with six or more runs by his offense in six of nine starts.

Runs however, will be hard to come by against Kiwoom. They lead the KBO in team ERA and have allowed three or fewer runs in nine of 11. They’ll send Seung Ho Lee to the mound, who’s undefeated in his last four starts and has allowed just two earned runs over that stretch.
Pick: Kiwoom Heroes moneyline (-106)
Fade the Wyverns
While the Heroes are scorching hot, the Wyverns are ice cold. SK has dropped 15 of its last 19 and has been shutout in back-to-back contests.

They’ve scored more than three runs just six times since June 11th, and will be giving the ball to a struggling Jong Hoon Park against the Samsung Lions. The right hander has allowed 18 runs over his last three outings and has seen his ERA balloon to 5.81.
The Lions meanwhile, will send Chae Heung Choi to the hill, who’s fresh off 6 innings of one-run ball against the Hanwha Eagles. He’s allowed a single run or less in four of seven outings this season and looks completely healthy after suffering a calf injury earlier this month.
Pick: Samsung Lions moneyline (-136)
Tigers Takedown Eagles
Tuesday is a day that ends in “y” so it must mean we can pick on Hanwha. The Eagles have shown some signs of life lately, but were outscored 15-6 by KT Wiz over losses on Saturday and Sunday to drop them 24 games under .500.
This is the most cursed team I have ever seen in my life. “When your a bad team you find ways to lose”. I have no words. pic.twitter.com/yhcGKxy3sa

Tuesday’s opponent KIA is also coming off back-to-back losses, but against much stronger competition. The Tigers will turn to Ki Young Im, who’s surrendered two or fewer runs in six of seven outings and hasn’t taken a loss since May 21st.

Hanwha will counter with Shi Hwan Jang, who’s performed admirably recently but has major durability issues. The 32-year-old journeyman has failed to last more than 5.0 innings in six straight starts, which means the Eagles atrocious bullpen is going to see a lot of work. That’s great news for KIA backers as they should have plenty of opportunities to score as the game wears on.
Pick: KIA Tigers -1.5 (+100)
