New York Online Sports Betting Generates Another $60 Million Revenue Week

The New York State Gaming Commission reported more than $64.5 million in gross gaming revenues for the week ending June 1, the state’s second consecutive week of more than $60 million in revenue, capping the end of a successful month for the sports betting market.
April saw nearly $100 million in New York sports betting tax revenue.
Knicks Loss Helps NY Sports Revenue
In the last week the New York Knicks bowed out of the NBA playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, winning just one of the last two games of the series which led to wins for Empire State sportsbooks.
The New York State Gaming Commission reported $$493,313,994 in online sports betting handle for the week ending June 1. The commission reported $64,503,432 in gross gaming revenue, a nearly $2 million increase from the previous week.
For the month of April, New York sports bettors wagered $2,153,262,045 for the month, generating $192,705,547 in gross gaming revenue which led to $98,272,764 in tax revenues. April saw nearly $31 million more in gross gaming revenue compared with March.
The New York State Gaming Commission releases handle and revenue reports for its nine live NY sports betting apps, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics Sportsbook, Bally Bet, Resorts World Bet, ESPN BET, and BetRivers, at the conclusion of each week.
