I have locked in my UNC vs California same-game parlay and three prop bets to consider tailing on Saturday night.

Let’s break this down piece by piece. Utah is 6-2 on the season as the favorite. They are double-digit favorites in this clash.

On the Cincinnati side, only one school has managed to score 34 points against the Bearcats – Kansas. Cincinnati has held six of eight opponents to 20 points other than under. Similarly, Cincinnati has scored 22 or more points in six of eight games this season.

While this exact game script has not come to fruition in any Utah or Cincinnati game this season, I am expecting a close Utah victory in the realm of 27-24 or 31-24.

Cincinnati at +11 is tremendous value even if Utah likely wins. This is a great game for an alternate line parlay such as Cincinnati +14.5 and Over 49.5 which I saw on DraftKings for +126.

Betting MarketCincinnatiUtah
Spread+11 (-115, Fanatics)-10.5 (-105, ESPNBet)
Moneyline+320 (Caesars)-360 (BetRivers)
TotalO 54.5 (-118, Underdog)U 57 (-122, BetRivers)

The books have Utah as double-digit home favorites for this Saturday night college football matchup, with the total set between 54.5 and 57 points. Over bettors can bet over 54.5 for -118 odds at Underdog. Under bettors can bet under 57 for -122 odds on BetRivers.

Utah bettors should take the Utes at -10.5 on ESPNBet (-105 odds) or -360 on the moneyline at BetRivers. Cincinnati bettors should take the Bearcats at +11 on Fanatics (-115 odds) or +320 on the moneyline at Caesars.

Props to Target

Brendan Sorsby (CIN) Over 260.5 Passing + Rushing Yards (-114, FanDuel)

Brendan Sorsby has covered this line in five of eight games, including games of 440, 278, and 287 in conference play. After a shaky Week 1 versus Nebraska, Sorsby has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country. On Cincinnati’s seven-game win streak, he is averaging 300.4 yards per game.

To Utah’s credit, they have allowed 200 passing yards just once this season (Texas Tech), however, Sorsby is the best quarterback they have faced.

Quarterback (Team)Total Passing + Rushing
Nico Iamaleava (UCLA)183
Kaden Anderson (Wyoming)89
Behren Morton (Texas Tech)144
Will Hammond (Texas Tech)230
Jaylen Henderson (West Virginia)50
Khalil Watkins (West Virginia)102
Jeff Sims (Arizona State)190
Bear Bachmeier (BYU)230
Kaidon Salter (Colorado)33
Ryan Staub (Colorado)61

While no quarterback has tallied 261 combined yards on his own, Utah does have a strange distinction of getting significant backup quarterback action in three of seven FBS games. The Texas Tech game in particular stands out because Red Raider quarterbacks combined for 374 yards,

Utah poses a tough threat, but Sorsby is dialed in. In his last seven games, he has a 92.0 PFF passing grade, only behind Julian Sayin of Ohio State.

It could also be worth betting on Sorsby’s touchdown props. He has multiple passing touchdowns in seven straight games and seven rushing touchdowns on the season.

Devon Dampier (UTAH) Over 44.5 Rushing Yards (-137, Underdog)

In seven games, Devon Dampier has cleared this line four times. His season-best output of 120 yards nearly tripled this line. I am particularly intrigued with this line against Cincinnati’s 3-3-5 defense. While the Bearcats have been solid against the run overall, they often do not have the numbers advantage.

In eight games, Cincinnati has allowed nine 50-yard rushers. Two quarterbacks – Cam Fancher (UCF) and Jalon Daniels (Kansas) are among this group.

Dampier is a willing runner, averaging north of 11 attempts per game on the ground. While this number does include sacks, he has at least 10 attempts in every FBS game played this season. The likeliest scenario is Dampier gets one chunk run and cobbles together another 30 yards throughout the night.

On the season, Dampier has 14 runs of at least 10 yards. His season-long is only 26 yards, but he has multiple explosive runs in four of seven games.

Cincinnati Team Over 2.5 Touchdowns (-140, DraftKings)

Cincinnati has cleared this prop in six of eight games this season. As mentioned, Sorsby has seven straight games with multiple touchdowns, and Cincinnati has a rushing touchdown in every game besides its 20-11 win over UCF. Sorsby himself could have three touchdowns – something he has done five times.

Utah does have a top-10 scoring defense at 14.2 points per game, but part of this dominance has been subpar opponents including single-digit outputs by Cal Poly and Wyoming. Other teams like West Virginia and Colorado had to trot out multiple quarterbacks.

The best two teams Utah has played are Texas Tech and BYU. Both teams managed to score at least three touchdowns. The Red Raiders tacked on four touchdowns while BYU scored three in a rivalry-game victory.
