AFC East rivals collide on Thursday Night Football as the New York Jets (2-7, 1-2 away) face the New England Patriots (8-2, 3-2 home). The Pats enter play riding a seven-game winning streak, in large part thanks to a much improved defense from a season ago.
That’s bad news for Justin Fields and Co. in the player props market tonight, as yards are going to be difficult to come by. New England is especially strong at stopping the run, meaning New York is going to have to get creative to get the ball in Breece Hall’s hands.
The first table below lists the main Jets vs Patriots player props available in the TNF odds, plus my favorite O/U to target. The second table features the anytime touchdown props.
NY Jets vs NE Patriots Player Props
My Jets vs Patriots player props card starts with over 14.5 receiving yards for Hall. I’m also targeting under 40.5 receiving yards for New England’s Mack Hollins, and an anytime touchdown for Pats tight end Hunter Henry.

Jets vs Patriots Player Prop Bet #1: Breece Hall Over 14.5 Receiving Yards
Let’s start with Hall. The RB is the only explosive playmaker left on the Jets roster, as Garrett Wilson is sidelined again with an injury. Hall is among the league leaders in explosive runs, but pounding the rock is not going to help you against New England.
Patriots Run Defense Stats
The Patriots have allowed the fewest yards (575) to opposing running backs this season. They rank 7th in EPA/rush allowed, and sixth in tackling per PFF. While stout against the run, enemy backs can find success through the air. New England has allowed a league-high 71 targets and 61 catches to the running back position this season.
Hall doesn’t have a voluminous passing role, but he’s efficient with his opportunities. He’s averaging 8.0 yards per catch, and 1.67 yards per route run. New York has to find a way to get him the football to keep the chains moving, and the passing game is their best chance for success.
Jets vs Patriots Player Prop Bet #2: Mack Hollins Under 40.5 Receiving yards
On to Hollins now, who’s being overvalued in the betting market thanks to his performance last week. Hollins saw 10 targets against the Bucs in a shootout, but that’s a true outlier performance. The 32-year-old has two games with more than four targets all season, and seven with three targets or less.
Passing volume won’t be sky high for New England as huge favorites, but the Jets defensive scheme also favors a more run heavy approach. New York is 27th in EPA/rush allowed, but has surrendered the fifth fewest catches to opposing wide receivers.
Hollins is an excellent blocker, and I’m betting he’ll spend more time opening holes for TreVeyon Henderson than running routes tonight.
Jets vs Patriots Anytime Touchdown Odds
Shifting over to the Jets vs Patriots anytime touchdown props, where I’m betting on Hunter Henry finding the box. He boasts the third shortest anytime TD odds at +155, trailing teammates Stefon Diggs and Henderson.
Jets vs Patriots Player Prop Bet #3: Hunter Henry Anytime TD
Drake Maye has thrown 2+ TD in 80% of his starts this season, and the Pats are implied to score 4 touchdowns tonight. We’ve covered how well New York defends wide receivers, but tight end is a different beast.
Enter Henry, who’s Maye’s favorite target in close. Henry leads the team in targets inside the 5-yard line, while the Jets have yielded a 10.6 percent TD rate to tight ends, the second worst mark in the league.
