The first Kansas City Chiefs game you can bet on in Missouri will be when they host the Texans on Sunday Night Football in Week 14. That comes six days after the launch of legal sports betting in the state.

- Moneyline (ML): This is a win or lose bet, the simplest one you can make on the game. Pick the Chiefs if you think they’ll win. The odds listed indicate how much you’ll make, so if the Chiefs are listed at -220 (which makes them the favorite, by the way), you’d get $145.45 ($45.45 in winnings + your $100 stake back).
- Spread (ATS): The spread is the projected gap between the two teams. If the Chiefs are -6.5, that means they would need to win by seven or more to win the bet. If you bet on the Texans +6.5, your bet would cash if Texans won or lost by six or less.
- Total (O/U): This is a bet on the total score of the game. If the total is 45.5 and you bet the Over, you’d need the teams to combine for at least 46 points to win. If the total score is 45 or less, the Under would cash.
