Notes on the F1 Drivers Championship odds movement over the course of the  season include:

  • December 8 – To guarantee the 2025 F1 Drivers Championship, all Lando Norris needed to do was make the podium in Abu Dhabi, and that’s exactly what he did on Sunday. He finished nearly 17 seconds behind race winner Max Verstappen but it didn’t matter: third place was enough for Norris to clinch his first Formula One title.
  • December 2 – So you’re saying there’s a chance?! Max Verstappen’s win in Qatar over the weekend now has twelve points back of leader Lando Norris with just one race to go. After seeing his odds climb as high as +10000 following the Dutch GP, Verstappen is now getting odds as low as +220 to repeat as champion.
  • November 24 – Max Verstappen (+260) has captured his second win in Las Vegas and is now tied for second with Oscar Piastri (+1800) with two races remaining. They’re both still chasing Lando Norris (-300), who boasts a 24-point lead in the standings.
  • November 10 – With another win over the weekend, Norris is distancing himself from the remaining contenders, going from -130 to -600 with three races to go.
  • October 27 – Lando Norris’ win in Mexico City has seen the McLaren driver leap past teammate Oscar Piastri and into first place in the drivers’ standings by a single point. He’s now getting -130 win the world championship, to Piastri’s +205.
  • October 21 – Verstappen continues to close the gap on McLaren’s Piastri and Norris, and is now getting +180 to repeat as the F1 Drivers’ Champion by picking up his third win in four races.
  • September 22 – Max Verstappen is dragging himself back into this race! After picking up his second consecutive win and fourth of the season, the reigning champ is now just +850.
  • September 8 – The only remaining threat to the two McLaren drivers is Max Verstappen, who’s now sitting at +4000 after picking up his third win of the season over the weekend.
  • September 1 – After clinching his seventh win of the season in Zandvoort, Piastri is now as short as -425 to capture the Driver’s Championship.
  • June 16 – He’s still further down the table but following is win in Montreal, George Russell has quickly gone from +15000 to as short as +5500.
  • May 26 – Norris took the checkered flag in Monaco this weekend, his first win since the season opener, and immediately saw his Drivers’ Championship odds shorten from +250 to +162.
  • March 21 – It only took one win to do it, but at -140 is Lando Norris already the new favorite to win the Drivers Championship, finishing ahead of last year’s champ Verstappen in Melbourne.
  • December 2 – Odds for the 2025 F1 Drivers Championship are out and Max Verstappen is the favorite to win yet again, averaging +185 to capture his fifth title in a row
