My favorite wager in this matchup is over 6.5 goals. Though just four playoff games in the first eleven have gone over that total, one of those instances featured this very matchup. On the other side, Pastrnak racked up 100 points (seventh in league scoring) and added two helpers in addition to the one late goal in the first matchup of this series.

Buffalo is the sixth choice in the Stanley Cup odds at +1200, while Boston is lagging well behind at +10000. The Sabres are the third favorite among Eastern Conference teams in the NHL Playoff Bracket.

The goaltending matchup is expected to be the same as it was in Game 1 – Jeremy Swayman (BOS) vs Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (BUF). The former stopped 34 of 37 (.919 save %), while the latter denied 17 of 20 (.850 save %).

Prior to Game 1, Swayman had gone 8-1-1 with a 1.88 GAA and .925 sv% in his career vs the Sabres. UPL was 6-4-2, with less than gaudy numbers vs BOS (3.45 GAA, .892 sv%).
