UEFA Champions League Odds Movement Timeline
- May 7 – The Champions League final is set! PSG (-150) open as slight favorites after holding off Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate. They’ll face Arsenal (+120), who completed their undefeated run through the tournament by holding off Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate.
- April 16 – Thanks to the wild win over Real Madrid yesterday, wowing us with seven goals and two red cards, has rocketed Bayern to the top of the odds table. With just four teams remaining, Die Bayern are now getting +175 to capture the Champions League title.
- April 8 – Winning away at Barcelona is already a big deal, but by doing so this afternoon Atletico Madrid immediately halved their Champions League odds, going from +2000 to +1000 heading into next week’s Leg 2 of their quarterfinal matchup.
- March 20 – Sporting was staring down the barrel of a 3-0 deficit going into Leg 2, but pulled off the comeback by knocking out Bodø/Glimt 5-3 on aggregate. Though their Champions League odds have shortened from +30000 to +5000, they’re still at the bottom of the odds table thanks to a quarterfinal date with Arsenal.
- March 6 – Heading into the knockout playoffs, sportsbooks offered little hope (but at +50000, huge odds) for Bodø/Glimt to advanced, but after two convincing wins over ’25 finalist Inter Milan, the Norwegian side is now getting +5000 to win the Champions League.
- January 30 – Real Madrid created a lot of unnecessary drama for themselves on the last day of the League Phase. Thanks to two late red cards and a late goal scored by the opposing goalkeeper resulted in not just Benfica sneaking into the playoffs, but also forced Real into the playoffs! Their reward? Seeing their odds drop from +850 to +1100 and a rematch with Benfica!
- January 23 – Believe it or not but five of the six English teams in the competition are currently sitting in the Top 8. The lone exception is Manchester City, who are presently 13th and destined for the playoffs but are still getting +750 to win a second European championship.
- November 28 – Just one team remains perfect after Matchday 5: Arsenal (+333) now sits alone at the of the Champions League table, after dispatching the formerly perfect Bayern Munich (+500) in London.
- October 24 – There are five teams still with perfect records after three Champions League matches. Listed in order of goal differential, they are PSG (+450), Bayern (+700), Inter (+2500), Arsenal (+500), and Real Madrid (+900).
- September 19 – Four teams now boast +600 odds after the first matchday, with Barca, Liverpool, PSG, Arsenal all opening their UCL campaigns with wins.
- September 15 – On the eve of the first UCL matchday of 2025, Barcelona (+600) and Liverpool (+600) have edged ahead of PSG (+650) on the odds table.
- July 17 – Paris Saint-Germain, last year’s Champions League winners, open at +500 as favorites to repeat and claim their second European title. Close behind PSG are EPL’s Liverpool (+600), and La Liga’a Barcelona (+700) and Real Madrid (+700)
