The top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes begin its National Title quest today as they host Ball State Cardinals at 12:30 p.m. ET at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes enter the contest as a massive favorite in the college football odds, but rather than lay an astronomical number on the spread, I’m choosing to attack the props market instead.

Conversely, the Ball State defense struggled to generate consistent pressure, recording just 23 total sacks. On the other side of the ball, the Cardinals offense faces a monumental uphill battle. Ball State averaged just 15.3 points per game in 2025, while giving the ball away 16 times.
They line up against an aggressive Ohio State defensive scheme that racked up 35 sacks and eight interceptions. This turnover differential edge means the field position battle will continually hand the ball back to the home team in premium scoring range.
