New York Sports Betting Ending April on Strong Note

New York online sports betting finished its final full week in April on a strong note.
The New York State Gaming commission reported nearly $57 million in gross gaming revenue for the week ending April 27, a nearly $30 million increase compared with the week before.
April will be a more profitable month for the state compared with March, as New York has reported more than $176 million in gross gaming revenue (with three days left unreported) compared with March’s $161.8 million gross gaming revenue total.
April Has Strong Returns
The New York State Gaming Commission reported $526,167,143 in total handle and $56,901,310 in gross gaming revenue for the week ending April 27. It was the most profitable week of the month for the state and one of the month’s highest weekly handles.
FanDuel maintained its top spot in the New York for the week. FanDuel reported $197,609,596 in total handle and $24,114,019 in gross gaming revenue, the most profitable week of the month for FanDuel. DraftKings, the second most successful operator in April, reported $181,268,409 in handle and $20,517,124 in gross gaming revenue for the week.
The New York State Gaming Commission releases handle and revenue reports for its nine live NY sports betting apps, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics Sportsbook, Bally Bet, Resorts World Bet, ESPN BET, and BetRivers, at the conclusion of each week.
