Any FanDuel customer who places a Super Bowl wager of at least $5 will win a share of $10 million in bonus bets if Gronk “kicks the field goal.” The press release from FanDuel doesn’t say Gronk has to actually make the field goal.
Gronk just has to attempt the kick, hence the campaign being labeled the “kick of destiny”. How the kick turns out is up to fate, but Gronk just making the attempt will land bettors a share of $10 million in bonus bets.
Before Gronk officially kicks the field goal, the five-time Pro-Bowler will train with a legendary NFL kicker in an effort to win fans their share of $10 million in bonus FanDuel bets. It’s unclear how exactly the prize money will be divided among FanDuel customers.
Gronkowski partnered with FanDuel back in December, and this “Kick of Destiny” campaign is the beginning of a business relationship between the ex-NFL tight end and one of North America’s top-rated sportsbooks.
