- A few Week 0 CFB props are still priced off last season’s numbers.
- Early action is already nudging a couple of these quarterback and running back lines.
- Read below for my three favorite Week 0 college football player props and the rest of the board.
College football is back, and the Week 0 slate gives us a real board to work with. These are the first numbers of the season, which means nobody has a clean read on how any of these offenses actually look yet. That includes the people posting the lines.
That is usually where the value sits. Most of these college football player props are built off last year’s averages, and plenty of these teams have a new quarterback, a new coordinator, or a defense that got thinner in the portal. None of that shows up in a Week 0 price until someone bets it.
I have three CFB props I like most before kickoff, plus a handful more worth a look across the rest of the slate. Here is where each number stands right now.
Week 0 College Football Player Prop Picks
Prices as of August 26, 2026. Check the Kalshi promo code and the Polymarket sign-up bonus before you take these numbers.
A 54¢ contract works out to roughly a 54% implied chance, so anything I think cashes at 60% or better is worth a bet. Last season’s defensive numbers are doing most of the work in these prices, and Week 0 rosters rarely look like last year’s rosters.
CFB Prop Pick #1: Beau Pribula Over 210.5 Passing Yards
Virginia scored 30.5 points per game last season and moved the chains on 49.8% of its third downs. That is the whole case here. This offense stays on the field long enough to rack up attempts, and Pribula does not need a big day to get to 211.
He also draws an NC State defense that managed just 20.0 sacks a year ago and has been trending down. Clean pockets and a steady diet of early-down throws is the likely script. The market is pricing this like a coin flip, and Virginia’s pace says it shouldn’t be one.
- Pick: Beau Pribula Over 210.5 Passing Yards — buy Yes at 54¢ on Kalshi.
CFB Prop Pick #2: Jayden Maiava Over 284.5 Passing Yards
USC averaged 35.0 points per game and finished 90.3% of its red-zone trips last season. Maiava is running an offense built on chunk plays and one that likes to dictate tempo, so the ceiling on any given Saturday is high.
San Jose State posted a minus-14 turnover margin a year ago, which should hand the Trojans short fields and a few extra possessions. More drives means more attempts, and 284.5 is a number Maiava can clear by the fourth quarter if this plays out the way the price suggests.
- Pick: Jayden Maiava Over 284.5 Passing Yards — buy Yes at 53¢ on Polymarket.
CFB Prop Pick #3: Dallan Hayden Over 60.5 Rushing Yards
Memphis averaged 32.2 points per game last season and cashed in on 93.8% of its red-zone trips. This is a balanced offense that finishes drives, and it should get into scoring range plenty at Allegiant Stadium against a UNLV front that is trending the wrong way.
Memphis wants to control the pace, and that usually means a full workload for Hayden between the tackles against favorable personnel. At 53¢ you are getting close to an even price on a back who only needs 61 yards to cash.
- Pick: Dallan Hayden Over 60.5 Rushing Yards — buy Yes at 53¢ on Kalshi.

North Carolina Tar Heels vs TCU Horned Frogs
In Dublin, Billy Edwards leads a North Carolina offense that scored just 18.9 points per game last season but converted 77.1% of its red-zone trips. TCU logged 23.0 sacks and is trending down up front. North Carolina will need volume through the air, which makes Edwards Over 169.5 passing yards a reasonable number.
On the other side, Jaden Craig runs a TCU offense that averaged 30.7 points and 421.5 total yards, with an 81.0% red-zone rate. North Carolina got after the quarterback last year (31.0 sacks), so Craig should lean on quick, early-down throws to beat the rush. Over 211.5 passing yards fits that script.
NC State Wolfpack vs Virginia Cavaliers
At Scott Stadium, Cedrick Bailey takes over an NC State offense that scored 30.2 points per game and converted 90.9% of its red-zone chances last season. Virginia recorded 31.0 sacks and 14 interceptions but has been sliding overall. Bailey clearing 236.5 passing yards is live, especially if this turns into the shootout the pace suggests.
Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors vs Stanford Cardinal
Micah Alejado’s Hawai’i offense put up 28.7 points per game last season with a 95.2% red-zone rate, and Stanford picked off just three passes a year ago. Alejado Over 1.5 passing TDs is the priciest number on this list, but the red-zone volume backs it up if Hawai’i keeps finishing drives at that rate.
For Stanford, Micah Ford is the workhorse in an offense that managed only 18.8 points per game but still converted 83.3% in the red zone. Hawai’i’s front had 30.0 sacks, so Stanford should lean on the run to stay out of obvious passing downs. Ford Over 89.5 rushing yards is well supported. More college football player props are here.
