Friday College Football Best Bets for Sep. 11

Friday College Football Pick #1: Rutgers +3

Boston College has shown significant offensive struggles early this season, averaging a measly 13 points per game. They are hitting a brick wall when it matters most, converting only 33.3% of their red zone opportunities. With the Eagles converting a poor 30.8% on third down conversions, Rutgers holds the clear offensive edge.

The Scarlet Knights are generating 21 points per game and boasting a superior 66.7% red zone efficiency. Given the Eagles’ sluggish offense and lack of pocket presence, taking the road underdog with the points is the play.

  • Pick: Rutgers +3 (-110 at bet365).

Friday College Football Pick #2: Louisville -36.5

The Cardinals enter this matchup with a potent air raid offense, averaging 36 points and an explosive 469 total yards per game. Louisville boasts a flawless 100% red zone efficiency and a positive turnover differential of +2, making them highly capable of covering massive numbers in the field position battle.

Conversely, Villanova has struggled heavily with ball security. The Wildcats have posted a dismal -3 turnover differential while managing only 17.5 points per game. Louisville’s offensive efficiency will drive this cover, while Villanova’s low scoring output should keep them buried on the scoreboard. Friday College Football Pick #3: Virginia -44.5

Both of these offenses have proven they can score, with Virginia averaging 34 points per game and Norfolk State posting 33 points per game. However, the Cavaliers maintain a perfect 100% red zone efficiency and a +2 turnover differential. This exceptional execution inside the 20-yard line should help them build a massive lead early.

While the Spartans can move the chains efficiently—sitting at 45.8% on third down conversions—they face a tremendous talent gap against an FBS opponent. Virginia’s flawless red zone schemes and superior depth will help them run downhill and easily cover this massive spread. As always, make sure you shop the college football betting apps to lock in the best number.

  • Pick: Virginia -44.5 (-110 at BetMGM).
