Tuesday’s full MLB slate gets underway with the Cleveland Guardians hosting the New York Yankees at 6:10pm ET. At 6:35pm ET, the Baltimore Orioles welcome the rebuilding Oakland Athletics, and the World Series champion Houston Astros are at PNC Park to take on the Pirates. On the back of a scorching-hot start, the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Boston Red Sox at 6:40pm ET.
Jacob deGrom is starting for the Rangers against the Royals at 8:05pm ET, and Corbin Burnes takes the hill for the Brewers against the Diamondbacks in the final game of the day at 9:40pm ET.
It is still early days in the season. There haven’t been any major changes in World Series odds, yet the record in April still counts towards the end of season MLB win totals.
With 15 games taking place on Tuesday night, there are a lot of bets to choose from. We have picked three of our favorites for this parlay.
MLB Parlay Picks – April 11th

---|---|
Yankees @ Guardians — Under 8 | -104 |
Athletics @ Orioles — Orioles Moneyline | -178 |

This three-leg parlay comes to odds of +416. This wager gets going in Cleveland with the Yankees and Guardians at 6:10pm ET, which is the second of a three-game set.
First pitch of the second leg is scheduled for just 25 minutes later at Camden Yards. We are then set for a bit of a wait with the final component of this parlay featuring the Nationals and Angels in Anaheim. Their game is set to start at 9:38pm ET.

Pick #1: Yankees vs Guardians Under 8 Runs
Gerrit Cole, one of the favorites in Cy Young odds, matches up with rookie Hunter Gaddis on Tuesday. Gaddis started four games in the Majors last season, pitching to an ERA of over 10, but he has a 3.72 ERA and a 2.34 xERA through two starts in 2023. Cole has struck out 19 and given up just six hits in 12.1 innings this term.
Gaddis has upped his cutter usage and cut down on his fastball, which is working wonders. He is allowing just a .201 xwOBA on his cutter, and has done a great job at limiting hard contact. Cleveland’s offense has started the season slowly, ranking below-average by wRC+ and typically hitting for very little power. Their contact-heavy approach is difficult to pull off against a pitcher with Cole’s stuff.
The Yankees offense again looks like one of the best in the Majors, but they have a tendency to be hot and cold. Cleveland’s bullpen is one of the better groups in the Majors, and can keep New York’s bats quiet if Gaddis gives them a solid start.
Pick #2: Orioles Moneyline vs Athletics
Sending an elite prospect to the mound for his second Major League start in Grayson Rodriguez, it’s no surprise to see the Baltimore Orioles as heavy MLB odds favorites against the Athletics. Oakland is arguably the worst team in the big leagues, while Baltimore boasts an above-average offense.
Kyle Muller gets the ball for the Athletics. His ERA is below three, but his xERA is up at 4.23, suggesting he has ridden some batted-ball luck. Muller struggled mightily in the Majors last season, and has not considerably changed his pitch mix or improved his stuff. His fastball has actually lost some velocity.
Grayson Rodriguez looks legit. All 5 of his pitches had Stuff+ marks above 110 and he had elite fastball command (117 Location+) last night, which is especially difficult in an MLB debut. If he can improve the breaking stuff command, he's a top-10 starting pitcher in baseball. pic.twitter.com/Kpu2xp1kqT

Rodriguez was dominant in 14 triple-A starts in 2022. He throws a hard fastball with strong secondary pitches, and should be able to keep this Oakland offense very quiet. The Athletics scored 11 in one game, which has proven to be an anomaly. They have scored two or fewer runs on five occasions already this season.
The price is inevitably quite short here, but for the purposes of a parlay, this is still a good value option. The runline is worth considering, too.
Pick #3: Angels -1.5 vs Nationals
Shohei Ohtani starts for the Angels on Tuesday night, owning a 0.75 ERA in two starts this term. Ohtani has struck out 18 in 12 frames and allowed just five hits. Washington’s offense is one of the weakest in the Majors, and they have already been shut down by Drew Rasmussen, Shane McClanahan and Spencer Strider.
Since being held to one run on Opening Day, the Angels’ offense has been doing a lot of damage. They scored 23 runs across three games against the Toronto Blue Jays, and should be able to put up a few runs against Josiah Gray.
Gray has massively cut down his fastball usage, which is a good idea after how much it got crushed in 2022. His xERA is 3.54. That’s a much better mark than in previous years, but some of that can be attributed to approved control. His command will be seriously tested by a disciplined Angels offense.
Only the Brewers have covered the runline less frequently than the Nats since the start of last season. Having lost several games by multiple runs already in 2023, we can’t see Washington keeping this one close.
