Anderson is 1-0 with a 3.07 ERA in five career starts against the Phillies. Though he has no decisions at Citizens Bank Park, Anderson has a fine 0.75 ERA in his two outings.

He is also a fashionista.

In eight starts on the road this season, Anderson has a 5-2 record and a 3.55 ERA. He is 3-2 with a 5.06 ERA in nine starts in night games.

Nola’s streak of eight consecutive starts without a defeat came to a halt last Friday with a tough-luck loss. He fell to the Padres in San Diego despite allowing one run in seven innings while also giving up seven hits, striking out 10 and walking two.

The Braves are a familiar foe for Nola as he will be making his 27th career start against them. He has a 13-8 record and 3.21 ERA.

Nola is 2-1 with a 4.10 ERA in seven starts at home this season. Under the lights, he has gone 3-4 with a 2.86 ERA in 11 starts.

Braves vs Phillies Betting Outlook

Adam Duvall homered and drove in two runs to help the Braves beat the Phillies on Wednesday night.

Matt Olson hit a pair of doubles. William Contreras also had two hits.

Acuna missed his second straight game while remaining back in Atlanta to get treatment on a sore right foot that he injured Sunday when fouling a ball off it. Acuna is scheduled to rejoin the team Thursday but is unlikely to return to the starting lineup until Friday.

Hoskins doubled and homered to account for half the Phillies’ four hits.

The Phillies placed infielder Johan Camargo (right knee strain) on the 10-day injured list prior to the game and selected the contract of first baseman/outfielder Darick Hall from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Hall made his major league debut as the designated hitter and went 0 for 4.

The Braves are 4-2 against the Phillies this season, including 2-0 in Philadelphia, and hold a slight 28-26 edge in the series since the start of the 2019 season.

Braves vs Phillies Prediction

Nola’s 4-5 record is deceptive as his sub-3.00 ERA indicates. Look for his luck to change in this one despite Anderson’s good, albeit brief, history in Philadelphia and keep the Phillies from being swept.

Pick: Phillies ML (-135)
