The National League East-leading New York Mets visit the Miami Marlins at 6:40 pm ET Friday in the opener of a three-game series at loanDepot Park.
The Mets (45-26, 21-16 road) are coming off being swept in a two-game series in Houston by the Astros, including losing 5-3 on Wednesday before being off Thursday. The Marlins (32-36, 18-14 home) are coming off a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies at home, capped by a 3-2 win on Thursday.
