Miami Limits Tatum From Deep

Jayson Tatum has been showing out in these playoffs, fully proving that he is one of the brightest stars in the NBA. The Celtics forward went off for 31 points in Game 4 while shooting 8 for 16 from the field. However, Tatum was only 1-for-7 from downtown for the second game in a row.

In fact, he’s only hit the over in triples in two of his last five outings. Game 3 was another 1 for 7 performance and aside from Game 2, Tatum is actually struggling to find his stroke from long range. The former Duke standout is still generating offense inside for Boston. But, his three-point efficiency hasn’t been there. That’s why I’m liking the under in treys here, especially because the Heat will be hungry to respond and shut him down as much as humanly possible in a pivotal Game 5.

Pick: Jayson Tatum Under 3.5 Three-Pointers (-111)

Horford Dominates on the Boards

Robert Williams has spent time in and out of the C’s rotation due to knee soreness, but they honestly haven’t felt his absence because of Al Horford’s ability to step up and deliver. The veteran big man is not only giving Ime Udoka some fantastic consistency from beyond the arc, but he’s also a beast on the boards.

Horford collected 13 rebounds in Game 4 and was a huge reason Boston outdueled Miami by a long shot inside. He’s also hit the over in rebounds in two consecutive games and four of his previous five. Horford is strong, versatile, and can easily match up with Bam Adebayo. The Dominican native is showing no mercy and his experience is shining through. Win or not on Wednesday, Horford will make his presence felt on the glass. This is a very good pick that will surely hit.

Pick: Al Horford Over 8.5 Rebounds (-130)
