The Rams have also opened as -190 favorites on the moneyline, giving them a 65.52% implied win probability. The Bengals will be seen as the underdogs in Super Bowl 56, getting 3.5 points.

The total (over/under for the game) has opened at 50, with two explosive quarterbacks facing off in Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford.

The Rams have won eight of their last nine games and the Bengals have won six of their last seven games. Cincinnati has been profitable this season, going 13-7 ATS, while the Rams are 10-10 against the spread.

Rams, Bengals Win by 3

The Rams rallied from a 17-7 deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the 49ers and gain a berth in a Super Bowl that will be played on its home field. Travin Howard’s interception with 1:09 left sealed the victory.

Cooper Kupp caught two touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford. But after Kupp’s second TD catch and a tying field goal on a drive extended by Jaquiski Tartt’s brutal dropped interception, the Rams drove for Matt Gay’s 30-yard go-ahead field goal with 1:46 to play.

Los Angeles’ defense then won it when Aaron Donald got hold of Jimmy Garoppolo and forced him to fling a pass toward JaMycal Hasty. The ball caromed high in the air off Hasty’s hands and came straight down to Howard.

The Bengals also rallied to win, coming back from a 21-3 deficit in the second quarter to win on Evan McPherson’s 31-yard field goal with 9:22 left in overtime.

The Bengals erased an 18-point deficit — tying an AFC title game record — to take a late 24-21 lead on McPherson’s 52-yarder. But Harrison Butker’s 44-yard kick as time expired in regulation sent it to overtime.

The Chiefs started overtime with the ball, but Vonn Bell intercepted Patrick Mahomes on the third play, and Joe Burrow and the Bengals took over. Cincinnati is headed to its first Super Bowl since 1989.

Rams vs Bengals Recent Results

The Rams and Bengals last met during the 2019 season at Wembley Stadium in London before Stafford and Burrow were with their respective teams. The Rams won 24-10 as 12-point favorites.

Kupp had seven catches for 220 yards and a touchdown as Jared Goff threw for 342 yards, two years before being traded to the Detroit Lions for Matthew Stafford. The Rams went 9-7 and missed the playoffs that season a year after reaching the Super Bowl.

Joe Mixon had a game-high 66 yards on 17 carries for the Bengals, who had the worst record in the NFL that year at 2-14. They used the first pick on Burrow in the following year’s draft.

Super Bowl Betting Line Movement?

No sporting event draws once-a-year bettors like the Super Bowl. Novices usually bet the favorite and that figures to be especially true with the Rams playing on their home field. Don’t be surprised if the line inches up during the next two weeks.
