Today’s SGP has three legs, including the Cowboys’ moneyline, along with Ezekiel Elliott over 49.5 rushing yards and anytime TD.

The public is favoring the Giants to cover the 10-point spread. With 61% of bets on them, while 74% of Giants vs Cowboys public betting trends are pointing to wagers on Dallas to win on the moneyline. With respect to the game total, 67% of bets have been placed on over 45.5 points.

The Cowboys are the fifth choice in the Super Bowl odds at +1000, while the Giants are longshots at +8000.

SGP Pick #1: Dallas Cowboys Moneyline

The Dallas Cowboys crushed the previously one-win Minnesota Vikings last week 40-3, while the Giants were dusted 31-18 by the Lions. In their earlier tilt way back in Week 3, Dallas emerged victorious 23-16, with Cooper Rush at quarterback. For this game, they have Dak Prescott, who is competing in his fifth contest since returning from a finger injury.

Our model has the ‘Boys taking this one, as they’re projected to beat the Giants 22.4-10-2. This rivalry has been one-sided since 2017, with Dallas taking ten of the last 11 matchups.

The Giants have by far exceeded expectations on the campaign, though they might be showing signs of regression. They’ve lost two of three (by 13 and 14 points), and beat Houston, the worst team in the NFL, by just eight points. According to PFF, they are just 29th overall in the league, ranking 27th on defense. The Cowboys can exploit that with the fifth-rated running offense and are the play for your Giants vs Cowboys picks.

SGP Pick #2: Ezekiel Elliott Over 49.5 Rushing Yards

In his first game back, following two contests that he missed with a knee injury, being on the Cowboys’ injury report, Ezekiel Elliott carried the ball 15 times for 42 yards. That was just the second game this season that he failed to eclipse the listed 49.5 total (the other game was 49). After shaking off the rust against Minnesota, he should be able to exploit a Giants’ defense that allowed Justin Jackson to amass 66 yards for the Lions last week against them, along with Jamaal Williams, who had 64 yards.

In ten of eleven career games against the Giants, Elliott has surpassed the 49.5 total, including this season, when he had 73 yards on 15 carries.

Elliott is in a timeshare with Tony Pollard in the Cowboys backfield, but there should be enough for the both of them to handle. Last week, they each had 15 carries against Minnesota, so it’s not as if Elliott is being phased out of the game plan. Zeke has had 15 carries in six of his eight games this season.

SGP Pick #3: Ezekiel Elliott Anytime Touchdown

If we are selecting Ezekiel Elliott to churn up yardage, we might as well add on a touchdown in hopes that he can kill two birds with one stone. In his last three games, he’s found paydirt a whopping five times, including two last week. The G-Men are susceptible to allowing running backs to score at will, as they allowed four TDs against Detroit’s backs a week ago.

In his last five duels with the Giants, Elliott has put up seven touchdowns. He must definitely be considered in your Giants vs Cowboys props for this Thanksgiving affair.
