It’s early, but so far in 2022 Russell Wilson and the Broncos (2-3, 0-2 away) have looked nothing like a championship contender. They rank 31st in points per game and have scored a league-low six touchdowns.

They’ll travel to LA for a Monday Night Football contest in Week 6, where Justin Herbert and the Chargers (3-2, 1-1 home) await.

Denver is a 4.5-point underdog and, with starting running back Javonte Williams on IR, it will be up to Russ and his pass catchers if they want to upset LA.

Wilson has a pair of high quality receivers to throw to in Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, so check out their over/unders in the Broncos vs Chargers player props below, as well as every other big name in this pivotal AFC West tilt.

Sutton’s receiving yards over/under is 15 yards higher than teammate Jerry Jeudy’s, but 3 yards lower than the Chargers Mike Williams. Sutton is enjoying a fantastic start to the season, and is one of only two players with at least 50 receiving yards in all five of his games.

MNF Prop #1: Courtland Sutton Over 65.5 Receiving Yards

Sutton has been able to flourish this season in spite of Wilson’s underwhelming play. He leads the team with 29 receptions, and has eclipsed 70 receiving yards in four of five outings.

The Chargers boast a strong pass defense, but as Amari Cooper proved last week they’re certainly not impenetrable. Cooper went off for seven catches, 76 yards and a score, as perhaps the LA defense was feeling the effects of Joey Bosa’s absence.

The star pass rusher is a game wrecker when healthy, but he’s currently on IR. With him out, the Chargers pass rush won’t be nearly as fierce which should give Wilson extra time to locate his favorite target.

Pick: Courtland Sutton Over 65.5 Receiving Yards (-115), 1 unit

MNF Prop #2: Russell Wilson Over 19.5 Pass Completions

Russ hasn’t been good all season anyone can see that. But game script should be against him in this matchup, forcing him to take to the air more often.

Volume wasn’t a concern last week, efficiency was, but he still managed to throw for 274 yards. He did that on 39 attempts, and has completed at least 20 passes in three of his five starts so far.

Also working in favor of a pass heavy game plan is the fact that the running back room is dust with Williams out. Melvin Gordon can’t stop fumbling, while Latavius Murray and Mike Boone are journeymen backups at best. Wilson will be chucking the rock early and often.

Pick: Russell Wilson Over 19.5 Pass Completions (+100), 1 unit

MNF Prop #3: Austin Ekeler Anytime TD

After failing to score in each of the first three games, Austin Ekeler has hit pay dirt five times in his last two contests. The great thing about Ekeler is that he’s just as likely to score through the air as he is on the ground.

Ekeler leads all running backs in receptions, receiving yards, yards after the catch and forced missed tackles. He’s caught at least four passes in every game so far, with an eight and nine catch performance already on his 2022 resume.

As for his rushing prowess, he’s fresh off a career-high 173 rushing yards versus Cleveland, and has scored a touchdown in each of his past four contests against the Broncos.

Pick: Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown (-160), 1 unit

Last week’s Player Props record: 5-1, +4.04 units
