Cardinals Fall To Dolphins

The Arizona Cardinals are a quality team at 5-3 but there are questions as to how good they are. They have beaten the Seattle Seahawks this season but their other four wins have come against the four NFC East teams. On Sunday, they were favored at home against the Miami Dolphins, who were giving rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa his first road start and the Cards lost.

Arizona got an incredible effort out of quarterback Kyler Murray, who finished the day with 389 total yards and four touchdowns. However, a late missed field goal of 49 yards was the difference as the Dolphins ended up winning 34-31.

The Cardinals have to be a little bit concerned with their defense, which didn’t get enough stops. They gave up 24 first downs to the Dolphins, allowing them to convert 4-of-8 on third down. Tagovailoa finished an efficient 20-of-28 for 248 yards and two touchdowns. If this defense performs the same way again on Sunday, they’ll get shredded by the Bills.

Bills Put Together A Strong Effort

The Bills had been shaky in recent weeks. They did pick up wins over the New York Jets and the New England Patriots prior to the meeting with Seattle but the wins were narrow and the offense struggled. That wasn’t the case on Sunday, as they won 44-34 as their offense produced their highest scoring total of the season.

Josh Allen finished the day 31-of-38 for 415 yards, with three touchdowns passes and adding another score on the ground. The running game didn’t do much – just 34 yards – but the passing game couldn’t be stopped. Stefon Diggs had 118 receiving yards, John Brown had 99 while six players in total had at least 30 receiving yards.

Which Way Will The Line Move?

The Cardinals are at home here but after the Bills earned a big win over the Seahawks while the Cardinals lost to the Dolphins. Look for bettors to have faith in the Bills. That means the line should move in their direction. The Cardinals are at -2.5 but it could inch down towards a PICK by Sunday.
