It was a similar narrative a week ago when Philadelphia spotted the New York Giants 17 points in the first half before storming back for a 23-17 overtime win. And there was no comeback three weeks ago, when they stumbled out of the gate in a 17-9 loss to Seattle.
Wentz Key to Eagles Success
Confidence in the Eagles has also been rocked by a dismal performance in a 37-31 loss in Miami in Week 13. The bright side for the Eagles has been the play of Carson Wentz. He’s guided the squad to season-saving comeback victories despite seeing his supporting cast decimated by injury.
