Giants Barely Edge Washington Football Team
The Giants did finally get on the board in Week 6 but it was just barely. Hosting the one-win Washington Football Team, the Giants actually found themselves tied with Washington late in the fourth quarter. Washington had driven into Giants territory with 3:29 remaining before quarterback Kyle Allen was sacked. He fumbled, the Giants recovered and returned it for a touchdown.
Even with that score, the Football Team answered back late in the game with a touchdown of their own. Instead of kicking the extra point, they went for two (and the win) but failed to convert. That’s how the Giants got their first victory of the season.

It was another ugly day for the offense as Daniel Jones finished with just 112 passing yards. On the bright side, he did complete his first touchdown pass in five weeks. On the downside, this unit came up with just 13 points, 16 first downs and 240 total yards.
Eagles Nearly Complete Epic Comeback Versus Ravens
The Eagles hosted the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6 and most people expected them to lose. They were a 10-point dog going into the game and it showed early on. It wasn’t until the Eagles trailed 24-6 that they actually woke up. Philadelphia made a late charge, cutting the lead to 30-28 late in the fourth quarter, but a failed two-point conversion kept them from tying the game.
On the one hand, the Eagles do deserve credit for fighting hard – especially after digging themselves such a big hole. On the other hand, the overall numbers are disappointing. Carson Wentz finished 21-of-40 for 213 yards. 50 of those yards came on one play. Meanwhile, the running game compiled 194 yards on the ground but 74 of it came on one play.

The Eagles just weren’t in possession of the ball for long periods of time early and that showed. They were whipped in the time of possession battle 36:30-23:30. They were lucky to even have a shot at the end of this.
Which Way Will The Line Move?
The Eagles opened at -6.5 but expect that to shift up to a touchdown. They’ve showed some life in recent weeks. While they’re still a one-win team, they battled hard against the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, the Giants could only barely eke out a win versus the hapless Washington Football Team.

Bettors should feel that the Eagles defense will be able to keep the Giants under wraps in this one. That should lead to money on the Eagles, pushing this up to a full touchdown.
