  • Two playoff contenders collide when the Baltimore Ravens (8-4) host the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) at M&T Bank Stadium at 4:25 p.m. ET.
  • It’s a match-up of two of the NFL’s best running backs in Derrick Henry of the Ravens and Saquon Barkley of the Eagles.
  • We’ve got your full preview for Eagles vs Ravens, including a look at the best odds, tips on which way to go and our prediction for Sunday.

A pair of elite offenses meet when the Ravens (8-4, 6-5-1 ATS) host the Eagles (9-2, 7-4 ATS) in one of the marquee games of the Week 13 NFL slate.

Boosted by New York Giants castoff (the Giants don’t regret that at all) Saquon Barkley, the Eagles have the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL. Barkley leads the league with 1,392 yards on the ground and backward hurdle jumps.

Boosted by Tennessee Titans castoff (the Titans don’t regret that at all) Derrick Henry, the Ravens have the overall top offense in the NFL. “King Henry” is right behind Barkley with 1,325 yards and 13 touchdowns. He doesn’t do backward hurdle jumps, but his stiffarm is the stuff of legends.

How will these two perform Sunday? We have your full preview, prediction and guide to best odds.

Sportsbooks set this line at three points, but it’s barely moved. Baltimore is the home favorite. They are 4-1 at home this season. They have been the favorite in their last 10 games. They just can’t beat the Steelers.

Philadelphia has been favored in their last four games, and they have won five of their last six games against the spread. The Eagles have won seven in a row, and five of those have been by more than a TD.

The total has also remained steady. It’s 51 points at BetMGM and Caesars, 50.5 everywhere else. Seven of the last eight Ravens games have hit the over.

Philly, though, has been a tough over/under pick. They’re 5-6 against the total. Their last three games have been 57, 44 and 40 points combined. We also like to look at that when making our decision.

The best moneyline wager on the Eagles is FanDuel at +138, for the Ravens the best moneyline pick is at DraftKings at -142.

The Deal With The D?

Statistically, Baltimore has one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They are 24th overall in yards allowed, and second-to-last against the pass.

Yet the Ravens are 8-4, and definitely a Super Bowl contender. Is this a situation where the numbers are skewed? We think so. Baltimore has moved the ball so easily on people, that a lot of these passing yards are late and meaningless.

And Baltimore still makes big plays on defense. Kyle Hamilton is an All-Pro safety, and the Ravens have 39 sacks. Defense in the NFL is about big plays, like turnovers and sacks, and Baltimore can gamble, because their offense is so strong.

Is Philly Special?

Remember, the Eagles started the year 2-2 but have now won seven straight to rise to the top of the NFC East. Saquon has clearly been the big difference maker. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been steady, not spectacular.

The Eagles may be without speed demon DeVonta Smith, who is dealing with an injury. That puts more pressure on A.J. Brown in the passing game.

Defensively, the Eagles still create issues up from,t and linebacker Zack Baun has 105 tackles. Josh Sweat leads Philly with seven sacks.

Ravens vs Eagles prediction

  • Ravens -3.0 at BetMGM
  • Under 51.0 at BetMGM

Beating Baltimore at home will be a big challenge for Philadelphia. Both defenses will be locked in on the running backs. Baltimore will throw everything at Barkley, and Philadelphia will try to lock up King Henry. With the defenses focusing on that, then it comes down to the quarterbacks and the passing game (weather forecast is cloudy, no rain and in the 40s).

In that case, we’ll got with the NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to make some plays in the second half.
