  • The Los Angeles Rams beat the Chicago Bears 17-7 on Sunday Night Football.
  • Quarterback Jared Goff had a total of 11 completions on the team’s 13 offensive drives.
  • The Baltimore Ravens enter Week 12 having won six straight games.

The Los Angeles Rams will host the Baltimore Ravens for Monday Night Football in Week 12. While it is a matchup of winning teams, it feels like these two squads are heading in different directions. The Ravens (5-5) ATS and Rams (7-3) ATS opened as a pick but the Ravens have been bet up to -3. Don’t be surprised if they climb higher by next Monday.

Ravens vs Rams Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Baltimore Ravens +3 (-110) OFF Over 48.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Rams -3 (-110) OFF Under 48.5 (-110)

Odds taken Nov. 17.

Rams Barely Get by the Bears

In one of the uglier games we’ve seen on primetime television this season, the Los Angeles Rams edged the Chicago Bears 17-7. Both offenses were miserable as the Bears ended up benching quarterback Mitchell Trubisky while Rams quarterback Jared Goff only completed 11 passes the entire game.

The Rams offense has completely gone into the toilet the last couple of games. Goff has become a liability as a passer as his 39.7 QBR is 27th in the NFL. About the only good news on Sunday was that Todd Gurley had a decent game (97 rushing yards on 25 carries) and the defense held tough (as they have most of the season).

This team is exhibiting some serious flaws and hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record since Week 2 when they beat the Drew Brees-less New Orleans Saints. They better find some answers quickly as the red-hot Baltimore Ravens visit next Monday.

Ravens Roll Once Again

There’s no hotter team in the NFL right now than the Ravens, who have picked up their sixth straight win on Sunday. In what was supposed to be a matchup of MVP contenders between Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson, the Ravens flattened Houston en route to an easy 41-7 win.

The offense was again awesome as Lamar Jackson added four more touchdowns to his season totals as the team picked up 263 rushing yards collectively. It’s worth noting that the defense has been much-improved since acquiring Marcus Peters. They’ve given up just 14.0 points per game with him after previously allowing 23.3.

Which Way Will the Line Move?

I’m expecting to see plenty of Ravens money in this spot. The Rams offense is extremely limited these days and that figures to be a problem against a Ravens defense that’s holding opposing quarterbacks to an 81.2 passer rating (fifth-best mark).

As for the Ravens offense, this won’t be an easy task. They’re a top 5 unit against the run, giving up just 89.1 rushing yards per game, and the Ravens offense could get thrown off a bit if they’re not able to run on the road.

At the end of the day, though, bettors just watched the Rams struggle in primetime against the lowly Chicago Bears. The Rams labored to get first downs. Now they’ll host one of the best teams in the AFC and one of the league’s frontrunners for MVP. That’s going to draw action on the Ravens.

Although Baltimore opened -3, I would expect this line to go higher. The Rams don’t have a particularly strong home-field advantage – or team, for that matter.
