  • With either team as the winner, the betting line is set at +285
  • The longest shot on the board at +1800 is the Detroit Lions beating the Kansas City Chiefs

Oddsmakers are of the belief that a Super Bowl rematch is the best bet in the betting lines on exact outcomes for this season’s big game.

The Baltimore Ravens playing the San Francisco 49ers is viewed as most likely to happen. With either team winning, you’ll get a favorite’s betting line of +285.

Those two teams met previously in the Super Bowl in 2013.

Next in line is a 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl game. The Niners beating the Chiefs is third in this betting market at odds of +475.

Top Seeds Favored In Super Bowl Outcome Odds

Baltimore owns the NFL’s best record (14-4 straight up) and are the #1 seed in the AFC. That means the Ravens will be playing host to the Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. It’s Baltimore that is set as the 3.5-point home chalk in the Chiefs vs Ravens betting line.

Likewise, the 13-5 49ers are the NFC’s top seed and will be hosting the Lions in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. San Francisco are 6.5-point home favorites in the 49ers vs Lions odds.

Home teams won both conference championship games last season, so perhaps it’s only logical then to anticipate a Baltimore vs San Francisco Super Bowl game.

No matter which way you bet this outcome, you’ll be given a betting line of +285 in the Super Bowl outcome odds. These two teams have already met this season. Baltimore won 33-19 at San Francisco in Week 16.

The Ravens also toppled the 49ers 34-31 in their previous Super Bowl meeting. Yet despite this history of success, Baltimore is the second betting choice to win the big game at Super Bowl 58 odds of +190. It’s the 49ers who are the +145 chalk.

Chiefs vs 49ers Also a Rerun

The Chiefs are playing in their sixth successive AFC Championship Game, while the 49ers will be appearing in their fourth NFC title game in five years.

Kansas City has gone to three Super Bowls in the previous five years. San Francisco has won just one of those prior recent conference title appearances. That led to their 2020 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs by a 31-20 count.

San Francisco’s only Super Bowl losses were to the Ravens in 2013 and the Chiefs in 2020. Kansas City, though, has never won an AFC Championship Game as a road team.

Lions An All-Around Super Bowl Longshot

Even as a member of the NFL’s elite final four, Detroit remains a Super Bowl longshot. The shortest Super Bowl exact outcome odds on Detroit have the Lions paying at +800 should they lose to the Ravens. Detroit in any other combination offers a betting line of +1200 or longer.

There’s a reason for that. San Francisco (5-2), Kansas City (3-1) and Baltimore (3-0) have all made multiple Super Bowl appearances and posted multiple wins in the big game. And then there’s the Lions.

Detroit hasn’t played in a Super Bowl game. This will be the club’s second NFC Championship Game appearance. The Lions lost at Washington in the 1991 NFC title game.

You have to go all the way back to 1957 to find the Lions as NFL champions. That was also the most recent season in which the franchise won a postseason game on the road.

Cause for optimism? That 1957 road playoff game victory was at San Francisco.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens to beat San Francisco 49ers (+285)
