Reality TV Odds – What’s Next for Your Favorite Stars?

Reality TV used to be the laughing stock of the entertainment world. But its popularity among the masses has never waned and now we’re forced to take way too many of these wannabe stars as actual celebrities.

The Kardashians took what should have been 15 minutes of fame, and turned it into a money-making empire, commanding $100 million for another season of their hit series Keeping Up with the Kardashians; The Hills star Lauren Conrad leveraged her fame to become a best-selling author and fashion guru; and American Idol season 3 contestant Jennifer Hudson went on to become an Academy Award-winning actress. (Ok, she’s a legit star.)

But even Mike ‘The Situation” Sorrentino found post-Jersey Shore success through his celebrity endorsements and paid appearances. Who knew abs had a direct correlation with biznass skills?

Not every reality star is destined to be the next Kardashian. But that doesn’t stop them from trying. Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute wants to pursue a career in comedy. Brooke Hogan ditched her wrestling stint to record her first country album. And who can forget Paris Hilton’s failed attempts to release a chart-topping pop album (that no one asked for)?

So what’s in store for TV’s latest crop of overnight celebrities? Which reality stars will make the jump from trash TV to Hollywood stardom? We set the odds and make some predictions.
