- Juve defeated Roma 3-1 in the quarterfinals last Wednesday to advance to the last four of the Coppa Italia
- They will face AC Milan in a two-leg semifinal, starting on February 12th
- Maurizio Sarri’s side are the clear favorites to win it all at -110
After a dominant performance over Roma last week, Juventus booked their ticket to the final four of this year’s Coppa Italia. Prior to the quarterfinals, the Turin-based side were still the favorites to win the competition with +135 odds. Maurizio Sarri has never lifted the trophy in his managerial career, however, Juve has won it in four of the last five seasons.
The last four consists of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Juventus. Napoli stunned an in-form Lazio squad 1-0 to advance, while Inter just sneaked by Fiorentina by a score of 2-1. Juve handled business against Roma in a convincing victory, while AC Milan fired four goals past Torino to win 4-2.
2020 Coppa Italia Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Juventus | -110 |
Inter Milan | +300 |
Napoli | +350 |
AC Milan | +900 |
Odds taken Jan 30
Inter Milan have the second-best odds at +300, while Napoli isn’t far behind at +350. AC Milan, who have struggled this year in Serie A play, have the worst odds to win the Coppa Italia at +900.
Will Juve Lift the Trophy Again?
Prior to Juve’s shocking 2-1 defeat against Napoli last weekend, Sarri’s side had won eight straight matches. In that stretch of fixtures, they bagged 22 goals while conceding just five. They’re currently three points ahead of Inter Milan in first place in Italy’s top flight and there’s a high chance Juve could meet Inter in the Coppa Italia final.

Juventus shouldn’t have any problem taking care of business across two legs against an AC Milan side who have looked extremely disappointing this year, although they have improved their form lately. But Cristiano Ronaldo and co. have looked exhilarating all over the pitch in the last two months, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them contending for their fifth Coppa Italia title in the last six years.
Inter Adds Midfield Maestro
It’s very evident that Antonio Conte has improved Inter Milan, guiding them to the top of the table this year, although they now sit three points behind first-place Juventus. The addition of Romelu Lukaku has worked wonders for Inter, with the Belgian bagging 18 goals across all competitions while forming a deadly partnership with fellow attacker Lautaro Martinez, who has 16 goals to his name.

In this transfer window, Conte has added two intriguing Premier League talents in Ashley Young and world-class midfielder, Christian Eriksen. The Dane is definitely going to add a spark in the middle of the pitch at the San Siro, adding creativity and the ability to create brilliance in the final third.

Inter should definitely beat Napoli, setting up a huge final against Juve.
Juve is Best Bet
Although I believe Inter is going to give Juventus a run for their money for the Serie A title this year, the current league leaders will win yet another Coppa Italia. They have been in very solid form lately and have breezed past their opponents in the Italian Cup. AC Milan should be no issue and if they face Inter in the final, it will be an entertaining clash, but Juve will come out on top.
Pick: Juventus -110
