That certainly makes the price for a win by Brugge hugely attractive at a wide +650.

Even the draw looks compelling at +390, given how poorly Atletico Madrid has performed in Europe so far this season.

Furthermore, Brugge’s confidence will be boosted by its 2-0 home win against Atletico Madrid on Matchday 3 last week.

Significantly, Brugge can claim early qualification for the knockout phase if it is successful in Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge.

However, Diego Simeone’s Spanish side needs a big lift after losing its last two games in the competition.

Perhaps the oddsmakers have been influenced by Atletico Madrid’s form in La Liga with victory in their last two games putting them in fourth place.

That idea may be backed up by the fact that Club Brugge has lost two of its last three league outings – although it sits in the third spot in Belgium ahead of Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge.

The game kicks off at 12:45 pm ET.

Over/Under & Spread

Club Brugge has scored seven times in the UCL so far without conceding once – winning 4-0 away at Porto.

Contrastingly, Atletico Madrid has scored just twice in three games while conceding five times.

Given Atletico Madrid’s dismal scoring record and Club Brugge’s defensive strength, it appears there will not be many goals – unless Club Brugge produces another big surprise and have a romp.

However, it may be that the Belgian side can pinch a low-scoring win in Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge. That makes the offer of +300 for there to be only one goal or fewer an attractive one (Under 1.5).

Meanwhile, the spread offering for Brugge to not lose by more than one goal also has a lot of merit at +125 (Asian Handicap +1).

Alvaro Morata to Score Odds

Oddly, given Atletico Madrid’s poor goal-scoring form in this competition – and club Brugge’s defensive strength – the goalscoring odds are dominated by the Spanish club’s players.

Alvaro Morata is the most favored player to get on the score sheet at an unpromising -105.

He has not hit the net in this UCL campaign but has three goals in La Liga.

You have to scroll down to eighth place in the odds to find a Club Brugge player ranked in the odds.

Spaniard Ferran Jutgla is priced at an attractive +350.

He has one goal in the UCL and five in the Belgian League.

Furthermore, his UCL strike came in the 2-0 defeat of Atletico Madrid last week.

Matheus Cunha of Atletico Madrid is made the second favorite to score on Wednesday at +130.

However, he has yet to hit the net in six appearances in all competitions.

Joao Felix of the Spanish club is also yet to score this season. But he is priced at +150 to be on target.

Antoine Griezmann scored in Atletico Madrid’s Matchday 1 defeat of Porto by 2-1 at home and is also priced at +150 to be on target in the Wanda Metropolitano this time around.
