The finale of the 2025 UEFA European Women’s Championship will be a battle of heavyweights as reigning-champion England (2-2-1, +8 GD) takes on World Cup-champion Spain (4-1-0, +13 GD) on Sunday at St Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland. Both teams needed extra time to advance past their semifinal foes. England played Italy to a 1-1 90-minute draw before Chloe Kelly scored on a rebound from her own missed penalty in the dying minutes of extra time to give England a 2-1 win.
