In the group stage, Panama scored six times while conceding four goals as it compiled seven points.

Among the spread prices, Panama is priced at +170 to win by two goals or more (Spread -1.5.)

Panama vs Qatar Preview
Panama was unbeaten in the group stage. After it opened with an impressive 2-1 defeat of Costa Rica, there was a following 2-1 success against Martinique.
Then came a 2-2 draw with El Salvador to clinch the top spot in Group C.
It was the first time Panama has finished top of its group since 2013.
It has been a concern that it has conceded a goal in added time at the end of each of its three Gold Cup fixtures s far.
This is the first time it has reached the last eight since 2109. It was last in the semifinals in 2015.

But it is expected to have too much firepower for Qatar – which suffered a major disappointment when it lost all three group games while hosting the World Cup last Autumn.
Qatar has fared better in this subsequent tournament and has shown some defensive resilience..
This was shown when it took a 27th-minute lead against Mexico and then survived a ceaseless barrage of attacks to secure the win which booked its place in the last eight.
There was just 23 percent possession for Qatar against Mexico and it may be able to pull off a similar smash-and-grab against the Panamanians.
However, it had opened the Gold Cup with a 2-1 defeat by Haiti.
Then came a 1-1 draw with Honduras before the surprise 1-0 defeat of Mexico on Matchday Three.
This, though, was its only win in its last six outings.

Jose Fajardo To Score Odds
Panamanian striker Jose Fajardo, 29, has six goals in 32 international appearances. He is the favorite to score in this tie at +115 – or +320 to find the net first or last.
This is because he was on target twice already in this competition against Costa Rica and Martinique.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Muntari has not been among Qatar’s three goalscorers at the tournament.
However, he is the Qatari player most favored to score this time out at +450.
This is because he has scored 13 times in 49 appearances for the Qatari side.
Panama vs Qatar History
Qatar was a 2-1 winner against Panam in a pre-World Cup friendly last November.
Previously, there was a 3-3 draw between these sides at the Gold Cup in 2021 in Houston.
