Switzerland vs Cameroon Predictions

Day five of the 2022 World Cup gets underway, with Switzerland taking on Cameroon in Group G.

And we’ve got the action at the Al Janoub Stadium covered with our 12/1 same-game parlay.

  • Breel Embolo to have 2 or more shots on target
  • Eric Choupo-Moting to have 1 or more shots on target
  • Granit Xhaka to be shown a card

Breel Embolo to have 2 or More Shots on Target

Embolo was in red-hot form with Monaco in the run-up to the World Cup – the Swiss striker scored five goals in his last seven Ligue 1 matches.

And he’s also been in scoring form for his country, scoring in two of his last three appearances for Switzerland.

He may not get on the scoresheet against Cameroon, but he looks like a solid bet to register at least two shots on target.

Eric Choupo-Moting to have 1 or More Shots on Target

Choupo-Moting has been in excellent form for Bayern this season, registering 24 shots in his last nine appearances for the Bundesliga giants, with 16 of them hitting the target.

He looks like a player that’s improving with age, and he could be an excellent bet to test the keeper at least once in this clash with the form he has been showing.

Granit Xhaka to Be Shown a Card

Xhaka will revert to a defensive midfield role for Switzerland, and it’s likely to unleash the Xhaka of old.

He’s been booked in each of the last four major tournaments he’s played in and has picked up five bookings for Arsenal this season – take him to start this World Cup with a yellow card.
