Molde vs Arsenal

Molde have lost just once in their last ten. That defeat came to Arsenal at the Emirates, with the Gunners winning 4-1 despite falling behind. Mikel Arteta might be looking to rotate for this clash with three wins from three in the Europa League, but his options are limited with injuries and positive COVID-19 tests. His fury at Nicolas Pepe suggests the winger will be left out of the squad.

Arsenal were poor against Leeds even before Pepe’s red card. They have been a dreadful attacking team this season, failing to create chances in the Premier League. Goals have been easier to come by in the Europa League – they are heavily favored to beat Molde as a result. Even with their form domestically, Arsenal are fancied to win this match relatively comfortably. It’s an opportunity for Eddie Nketiah to get on the scoresheet again, and Willian might have a chance to play himself into form after disappointing in his last few outings.

With nine goals from three matches, it’s hard to see past an Arsenal win. The Gunners on the -1 handicap is the best bet here.

Pick: Arsenal -1 (+128)

AZ Alkmaar vs Real Sociedad

Group F is one of the strongest in the competition. Napoli, AZ Alkmaar and Real Sociedad are all on six points from three matches. With Napoli likely to move on to nine points, there is a lot of pressure on AZ Alkmaar and Real Sociedad’s matchup. This is a meeting of two teams who have proven hard to beat – Alkmaar are unbeaten in the Eredivisie, while Sociedad have conceded four goals in ten La Liga matches and sit top of the table.

Sociedad have won five matches in a row on the road, including four clean sheets. All three of their Europa League matches have finished 1-0 – they beat Alkmaar by that scoreline on Matchday Three. It has been a tense, but low-scoring group so far.

The form of the visitors makes them natural favorites. A win for either side here puts them in a commanding position to progress, knowing they have a fixture against Rijeka to come. A loss here will make it difficult to qualify for either side. In what has already been a cagey group, the ‘Under’ on 2.5 total goals looks like a very good bet.

Pick: Under 2.5 total goals (+105)

Rangers vs Benfica

It’s seven points apiece for Rangers and Benfica after three matchdays. They will be the top two in Group D regardless of what happens on Thursday – third-placed Lech Poznan have just three points so far. These two sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in their last Europa League outing. Rangers led 3-1 after 51 minutes, with Benfica down to ten men, but the Portuguese side got two late goals to share the spoils.

Steven Gerrard has taken Rangers to heights they haven’t experienced in a long time. They are 11 points clear of Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Rangers carry great confidence into this match against a Benfica side that hit a blip before the international break. That blip continued with a 3-2 defeat to Braga on Sunday. They’ve got a long list of absentees for their trip to Scotland including the suspended Nicolas Otamendi and Julian Weigl, who tested positive for COVID-19.

Rangers are a good price to win this one. Gerrard’s side are playing great football, and Benfica have shown considerable defensive vulnerability, conceding nine in their last three matches.

Pick: Rangers moneyline (+115)
