The final week of games in the first half of the WNBA season leading up to the month-long Olympic Break is officially here, with the new week beginning with a tripleheader on July 7th.
The Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx kick things off at 8pm ET on ESPN2, followed by the Phoenix Mercury at the Las Vegas Aces at 10pm ET on Amazon Prime and the Los Angeles Sparks at the Seattle Storm at 10pm ET on CBS Sports Network.

Lynx, Wings Fight for Season Series
The Lynx and Wings will battle for the third and final time of the season, with each team looking to take the season series advantage knotted up at 1-1.
Minnesota enters at 9-7 overall, having gone 9-3 since starting 0-4 on the year while having won four straight games. The Lynx are coming off of a 99-68 win over Phoenix on July 3rd.
Minnesota has been led by Napheesa Collier, Sylvia Fowles and Kayla McBride, with Collier averaging 17.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists, Fowles averaging 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.9 blocks and McBride averaging 13.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Dallas enters the game at 9-10 on the year, having gone 5-5 over its last 10 contests. The Wings are coming off of a 99-96 loss to the New York Liberty on July 5th.
Arike Ogunbowale headlines Dallas with averaging 19.8 points and 3.4 assists a game, followed by Marina Mabrey with 14.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest.
With how hot Minnesota has been lately, it’s hard to go against the Lynx at home in this one.
Aces Try to Stay Hot, Mercury Look to Bounce Back
One of the hottest teams in the WNBA in the Aces will host the struggling Mercury in the second game of the night in Phoenix.
Las Vegas, winners of four straight while sitting tied atop the league standings with Seattle at 14-4 overall, are 9-1 in the last 10 games and are coming off of a 118-95 win over the Atlanta Dream on July 4th.
The Aces duo of A’ja Wilson and Liz Cambage continue to dominate, with Wilson averaging 19.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks and Cambage adding 14.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.

Phoenix comes in at 7-9 and eighth in the standings, having lost two straight while going 5-5 in the last 10 games. The Mercury most recently fell at home to the Lynx on July 3rd.
Brittney Griner, averaging 19.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks, will have her hands full against Las Vegas’ potent post duo. Skylar Diggins-Smith, averaging 18.3 points and 5.1 assists, and Diana Taurasi, averaging 15.6 points and 4.0 assists, might have to step up for the Mercury to pull out an upset.

Las Vegas is dominant at home, where it is 8-1 so far this year, and have been red hot as of late. Expect the Aces to take care of business once again on Wednesday.
Rematch Between Storm and Sparks
Seattle (14-4) and Los Angeles (6-11) will hold a rematch after playing their latest games against each other on July 4th in Los Angeles.
The Storm come in tied for first place, winners of two straight while having gone 7-3 over the last 10 games. The duo of Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd continue to dominate, with Stewart averaging 21 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.9 blocks and Loyd averaging 18.1 points, 4.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds.
Los Angeles sits near the bottom of the league, having lost four straight and eight of 10 games. The shorthanded Sparks have been led by Erica Wheeler with 13.5 points and 4.4 assists and Amanda Zahui B with 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this year.

In the first matchup between the two teams a few nights ago, Seattle topped Los Angeles 84-74, and it’s a safe bet to go with the Storm once again in the rematch.
Best Bet of the Night
The early odds have all three home teams favored, which isn’t all that surprising. Oddsmakers are anticipating the Minnesota/Dallas contest will be close, with the Lynx as 3.5-point favorites. The game predicted to be the biggest blowout is the Seattle/Los Angeles game, with the Storm as 14.5-point favorites.
For the best bet of the night, let’s go with the Sparks covering that 14.5-point line against the Storm. It’s hard for any team to win by more than a dozen points, so it might be a safer bet Los Angeles covering that spread.
