The 2026 College Football season kicks off August 29th in Week 0, with more than 130 FBS teams battling to win their conferences. Conference championship odds will shift all season based on wins and losses, injuries, and roster changes.
One big change this year: the Pac-12 is back. Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Utah State, and Texas State left their old leagues to rebuild the conference. That gives us 10 FBS conferences in 2026.
We’re tracking the odds to win each FBS conference as they change throughout the season. The page starts with the Power Four conferences (in alphabetical order), followed by the Group of Six conferences.

Odds to Win 2026 ACC Championship
All odds as of August 31, 2026, at DraftKings. Compare odds at the top college football betting apps.
Miami is the ACC favorite at -146. Those odds give the Canes a 59.3% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on Miami would win $13.70 and return $33.70.
Miami is the only ACC team priced as a favorite. SMU (+580) is the next name on the board, and no one else sits shorter than +800.

Sep 1: Virginia shortens from +1618 to +1411 after routing NC State 34-8 in the season’s first conference game. The Cavaliers held the Wolfpack scoreless on their first eight possessions.
Apr 28: Miami opens as the clear ACC favorite at -135. The Canes want their first ACC title after last year’s run to the national title game. SMU (+700), Louisville (+1000), and Clemson (+1600) follow in the early market.
Odds to Win 2026 Big 12 Championship
Texas Tech is the Big 12 favorite at -115. That works out to a 53.5% chance to win the conference. A $20 bet on the Red Raiders would win $17.39 and return $37.39.
The Red Raiders are still the shortest price in the Big 12. BYU (+550) and Utah (+750) are the only other teams here under +1000.

Aug 24: Texas Tech shortens from +100 to -115 and becomes an odds-on favorite again. The defending champs open at No. 12 in both major preseason polls, ahead of every other Big 12 team. Utah drifts from +650 to +750.
Aug 11: Texas Tech drifts from -150 to -105. Brendan Sorsby is out for the season after his gambling case ended, and new starter Will Hammond is still working back from a torn ACL.
Aug 11: BYU shortens from +650 to +550 and moves up to second. Utah slides to +650 as the Cougars take over the chase spot.
Apr 28: Texas Tech opens as a heavy favorite at -110 after winning the Big 12 and making the Playoff last year. Utah (+700) and BYU (+750) sit next. Everyone else starts +1400 or longer.
2026 Big Ten Championship Odds
Ohio State leads the Big Ten at +180. That gives the Buckeyes a 35.7% chance to win the conference. A $20 bet on Ohio State would win $36 and return $56.
Three teams separate themselves here. Oregon (+240) and Indiana (+260) sit right behind the Buckeyes, and the next best price is USC at +1600.

Aug 18: Oregon shortens from +260 to +240 and passes Indiana for second. Dante Moore is back after throwing for 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns, and he opens the year as a Heisman favorite.
Apr 28: Ohio State opens at +180 with Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith back on offense. Indiana (+250) and Oregon (+300) are close behind. Michigan starts at +1000.
Odds to Win 2026 SEC Championship
Georgia is the SEC favorite at +260. Those odds give the Dawgs a 27.8% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on Georgia would win $52 and return $72.
Georgia and Texas (+320) are the only SEC teams shorter than +800. LSU, Alabama, and Oklahoma lead a deep group behind them.

Aug 31: LSU drifts from +783 to +850 but remains third on the board. Alabama moves from +867 to +886, while Texas holds nearly steady at +316.
Aug 24: Oklahoma shortens from +1100 to +950 and closes in on LSU for fourth. The Sooners open at No. 10 in the AP poll and placed 10 players on the preseason Coaches All-SEC teams. Alabama moves from +800 to +850.
Aug 11: Texas A&M fades from +850 to +1000 and slips behind Alabama and LSU. Captain linebacker Daymion Sanford is expected to miss a big chunk of the season with a leg injury.
Apr 28: Texas opens as the SEC favorite at +300 with Arch Manning back under center. Georgia (+350) sits right behind after two straight titles. LSU (+650) and Texas A&M (+800) lead the next group.
2026 American Championship Odds
Navy tops the American at +370. That’s a 21.3% chance to win the conference. A $20 bet on the Mids would win $74 and return $94.
This is still the tightest board in the Group of Six. Four teams sit between +475 and +700 behind Navy, so the Mids are a favorite in name only.

Aug 31: Memphis shortens from +675 to +620 after opening the season with a 27-21 road win over UNLV. Navy remains the favorite and strengthens from +405 to +384.
Aug 18: Tulane drops out of the top five and falls past +800. Running back Jamauri McClure hurt his foot in camp, and coach Will Hall still has not named a starting quarterback.
Aug 18: South Florida enters the top five at +700. Eight Bulls made the preseason all-conference team, and Brian Hartline landed the best transfer class in the American.
Aug 11: Army fades from +600 to +850 and drops out of the top five. Running back Briggs Bartosh stepped away from football with a career-ending neck injury.
Aug 11: East Carolina enters the top five at +580. The Pirates now sit third on the board, ahead of Memphis and Tulane.
May 21: Navy opens as the American favorite at +360, even after North Texas and Tulane met in last year’s title game. UTSA (+475), Army (+600), and Tulane (+600) are the next best bets.
2026 Conference USA Championship Odds
Liberty is the Conference USA favorite at +250. That’s a 28.6% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on the Flames would win $50 and return $70.
Western Kentucky sits just behind at +370. Defending champ Kennesaw State is the longest price in the top five at +720.

Aug 18: Kennesaw State shortens from +1000 to +700. The defending champs are in year two under Jerry Mack, last season’s Conference USA Coach of the Year.
May 21: Liberty opens on top in Conference USA at +260. Western Kentucky (+280) is right there. Defending champ Kennesaw State starts back at +1000, with Jacksonville State (+450) and newcomer Delaware (+700) in the mix.
2026 MAC Championship Odds
Miami (OH) leads the MAC at +280. That gives the RedHawks a 26.3% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on Miami (OH) would win $56 and return $76.
Western Michigan at +330 and Toledo at +425 are right on top of the RedHawks. Three teams under +500 makes this a real scrap.

Aug 18: Miami (OH) takes over as MAC favorite at +300. The RedHawks have played in three straight title games, and Western Michigan drifts to +400 after beating them for the crown last year.
May 26: Western Michigan opens as the MAC favorite at +320 after winning the league last year. Miami (OH) (+360) and Toledo (+400) are close behind. Ohio (+650) leads the next group.
2026 Mountain West Championship Odds
North Dakota State is the Mountain West favorite at +245. Those odds imply a 29% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on the Bison would win $49 and return $69.
UNLV sits second at +270 after its opening loss. New Mexico is third at +370, with Air Force (+650) and Hawaii (+700) next.

Aug 31: North Dakota State shortens from +330 to +285 and moves into second after crushing Jacksonville State 33-7 in its FBS debut. UNLV remains the favorite at +263 despite a 27-21 home loss to Memphis.
Aug 18: Hawaii fades from +480 to +700 and drops to fifth. Preseason All-Mountain West receiver Pofele Ashlock is still working back from a knee injury and sat out the start of camp.
Aug 11: UNLV takes over as the Mountain West favorite at +260. New Mexico drifts from +220 to +265 and drops to second.
Aug 11: North Dakota State lands on the board at +300 in its first FBS season. The Bison carry the highest win total in the league at 9.5.
May 26: With Boise State gone to the Pac-12, the Mountain West opens wide open. New Mexico is the slim favorite at +220, just ahead of UNLV (+240). Hawaii (+400) and Air Force (+550) follow.
2026 Pac-12 Championship Odds
Boise State is the Pac-12 favorite at +160. That’s a 38.5% chance to win the rebuilt league. A $20 bet on Boise would win $32 and return $52.
Boise is the shortest price in the Group of Six. San Diego State (+400) and Texas State (+425) are the only other teams on the board under +500.

Aug 11: Fresno State shortens from +800 to +600 and climbs to fourth. Maryland transfer Khristian Martin has the inside track on the starting quarterback job.
May 26: The Pac-12 is back, and Boise State opens as the favorite at +120 in the new-look league. San Diego State (+350) and Texas State (+600) are next. Washington State (+800) and Fresno State (+1000) round out the top five.
2026 Sun Belt Championship Odds
James Madison is the Sun Belt favorite at +270. Those odds give the Dukes a 27% chance to win the league. A $20 bet on James Madison would win $54 and return $74.
Old Dominion (+425) is the only other Sun Belt team under +700. Louisiana, Troy, and Marshall lead the chase pack.

May 21: James Madison opens as the Sun Belt favorite at +230, even after losing coach Bob Chesney to UCLA. Old Dominion (+450) is the closest threat. Troy (+800) and Louisiana (+850) lead the chase pack.
