Cooking At Home With Bordeaux
Union Bordeaux are among the strongest teams at home. The Begles have claimed 85% of their totals points in the standings this season from home matches.
In fact, other than a 17-12 setback to Racing 92, the Girondins have proven to be a dominant force at the Chaban Delmas Stadium. In their other five home matches this season, the Begles have been averaging 35.5 points and 4.2 tries per match.

Among Top 14 clubs, only Toulouse (36.7 points and 4.3 tries) are proving to be a more powerful presence on their home pitch. The Begles are also doing it defensively. They’re allowing on average just 14.6 points per match at home.
Three of their five home matches have seen UBB obtaining the offensive bonus points. French international center Yoram Moefana is leading the way for the club with five tries this season.
Clermont Also Crushing It Of Late
Last week witnessed ASM Clermont Auvergne posting a solid away victory via a 41-32 triumph at Pau. It was the third time in seven matches seeing the yellow and blue posting 40 or more points.
That stretch included a impressive 51-38 win over the Bristol Bears, one of the top Rugby Premiership sides this season, in a European Rugby Champions Cup group stage match.

UBB Dominating ASM
Union Bordeaux (7-6-0), ASM Clermont Auvergne (7-5-0) and Toulon (7-5-0) are all level 33 points, filling the 6-7-8 positions in the Top 14 table. When it comes to journeys to Bordeaux, however, there’s been nothing but heartbreak for ASM in recent seasons.
The Clermontois have not won at Chaban Delmas in the league since March 27, 2016, a 24-19 victory.. Since then, the Auvergnats have suffered three defeats. They battled for a 23-23 draw in 2017.
