The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs are set to have a rematch from last year’s NBA Finals, but this time with two major differences; first home court is own by the Spurs this time, and for the first time in a while the finals will have a 2-2-1-1-1 format.

Last season the finals to seven games and despite the Heat won 4-3, in terms of betting the Spurs covered in four of those seven matchups.

“We’re happy to be back here this year, we’re happy to have another opportunity at it,” Spurs Tim Duncan said after the Spurs eliminated the Thunder on Saturday. “We’re happy that it’s the Heat again. We’ll be ready for them. We’ve got some experience, obviously, from last year against them, and we’ll go back and look at some film. And we’ve got that bad taste in our mouths still. Hopefully, we’ll be ready to take it this time.”

With home court advantage, the San Antonio Spurs are the favorites to win the title with the series price at -126; meanwhile the Miami Heat is +106, first time in the Big Three Era where they are the dogs.

“They wanted us. They got us. “They don’t like us. I can sense that from Tim’s comments the past couple days,” Lebron James said.

The last team to win a three-peat was the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000 to 2002, and the last team to beat the same opponents in the finals in back to back years, were the Chicago Bulls over the Utah Jazz in 1997 and 1998.
