  • Two NFC heavy weights will meet when the Los Angeles Rams take on the Green Bay Packers Sunday, November 28th

The Los Angeles Rams (7-3) will take a trip up north to see the Green Bay Packers (8-3) this Sunday. Kickoff from Lambeau Field is scheduled for 4:25 pm ET on FOX. Joe Buck (play-by-play) and Troy Aikman (analyst) will be calling this game from the booth.

The Rams come into this one losers of their last two. The latest was a 31-10 beatdown at the hands of the hated San Francisco 49ers which must have been a tough pill to swallow. As for the Packers, they are coming off of a loss to a rival as well which was a 34-31 setback to the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday.

The latest odds show Los Angeles favored by 2 points which is down from 2.5 earlier in the week. In terms of the total, 47 is showing at almost every book on the planet right now. As always, there are player props to bet and that’s what we’ll talk about here.

Get In the Van

Van Jefferson let a lot of people down a couple weeks ago against the San Francisco 49ers. He was expected t take a step forward in terms of production with Robert Woods out of the mix, but instead dropped the ball. Multiple times. Still, bettors shouldn’t be afraid to go back to the well with Jefferson.

He seems like he’s the type to put all distractions to the side and move on.

Jefferson was targeted seven times in the Rams’ loss to the 49ers which is a pretty healthy workload for a number two wide receiver. What most will remember about that game was Jefferson dropping an easy touchdown in the second half. This came after he failed to pull in a pass that hit in right in the hands a few plays earlier.

Still a bad night happens in the NFL and we shouldn’t forget that Jefferson has been targeted at least seven times in three of the last four weeks. Even with Odell Beckham Jr. in the fold, he should still see work especially on deep passing plays. He has a great opponent for the deep ball this week.

So far this season, only two teams in the NFL have given up more 40+ yard pass plays than the Green Bay Packers. With Jefferson’s receiving yards prop being at 50, we can get there on volume or via the deep ball. On top of that, the game script could shake out to be one where the Rams trail which helps over bettors even more. I think the +128 price tag is extremely generous given the multiple outs.

  • The Pick: Van Jefferson Over 50+ receiving yards (+128) wager 1 unit to win 1.28 units
  • SBD 2021 NFL Player Props Record: 20-21, +.32 Units

Tyler Higbee Should Get Home

There is absolutely no reason  to skip the touchdown scorer prop section for this game. For starters, this is the most electric bet a person can make on a football game. It’s true, look it up. And second, we should see more than a couple touchdowns in this game.

For my money it doesn’t get any better than Tyler Higbee crossing the plain Sunday evening.

I wanted to take a shot on Odell Beckham Jr. but I’m want more than just +225 on him. Thankfully, Tyler Higbee is being listed at +200 so that’s our guy. With a suddenly thin receiving core, Matthew Stafford is likely to rely on Higbee. When the 49ers locked down everyone last time out, it was Higbee that got the look from Stafford.

He’s only caught three touchdowns so far this season but I bet he gets number four Sunday.

  • Pick: Tyler Higbee – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+200) – Wager 1 unit to win 2 units
  • SBD 2021 Touchdown Scorer prop record: 17-24, +1.96 units
