As a -134 favorite, West Brom has a 57.26% implied probability to win. Note that the odds for this game vary significantly across sportsbooks. DraftKings Sportsbook has Swansea at a long +425 in the three-way odds.
The Baggies are coming off a 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough last week and have failed to win in five games. as for the Swans, they were beaten 4-0 by Sheffield United on matchday 33.
This is the second meeting between the two sides this term, with Swansea running out as 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture in October on home soil.
Despite the defeat earlier in the term, West Brom has won three of their previous five matches against Swansea. During that span, the over has hit in every game except for one
Baggies in Poor Form
Currently in 13th, West Brom is really struggling to find results right now. They have just one win to show for in their last 12 games, with that lone victory coming way back on January 22nd against Peterborough United. Steve Bruce’s side has also been absolutely lifeless in the final third, scoring only once in six games since January 26th while conceding 10 times.
"I can’t stress enough how big a game it has turned into." 🗣

Jayson Molumby put the Baggies a goal to the good against Middlesbrough on February 22nd with a fine finish, but the backline once against collapsed, with the hosts scoring twice in a span of nine minutes in the second half to hand Bruce’s group yet another dismal defeat. To be frank, West Brom couldn’t be in worse form at the moment and desperately need a result on Monday.
A tough one to take, but thanks so much for your support at the Riverside this evening, Baggies. 💙🤍 pic.twitter.com/O6xxXXa20h

Three points here could put them on the brink of breaking into the top-10 and they’ve actually thrived at The Hawthorns this term, going 8-6-1. Playing on the road is the Baggies’ kryptonite therefore the side will be feeling confident ahead of a big clash in front of their home supporters.
Swansea Looking to Pull Off The Double
Although the Swans are in the midst of an uneventful campaign where they remain in 17th place, Russell Martin’s men have the chance to pull off their first league double over West Brom since the 2011-12 season. However, Swansea isn’t in the greatest shape either, losing two of their last three and getting absolutely dominated by Sheffield just over a week ago.

It was a horrific first half for the Swans, who allowed the Blades to go three goals up by the whistle. Attacking-wise, Martin’s group had just about nothing, despite controlling 62% of the ball in the fixture. Nevertheless, Swansea has improved slightly since the turn of the year, collecting 11 of a possible 27 points.
🗣️ “It is a tough challenge, but I think it is a really exciting one. It is one that we must be excited about and not go there with any fear.”

Despite having games in hand, the side is out of the playoff picture. But, they’re safe from the relegation zone and already secured a big victory against West Brom last time. Given the disarray at The Hawthorns, the Swans are going to be motivated to bounce back and extend West Brom’s brutal streak.

West Brom vs Swansea Prediction
Baggies are magnificent at home, while Swansea is winless in six games on the road. Also, West Brom hasn’t lost at The Hawthorns to the Swans in six outings, either. Both of these teams aren’t in great form and really lack an attacking punch. That being said, I think you’ll see a low-scoring affair with the hosts just edging out the visitors.
Pick: West Brom (-134), Under 2.5 Goals (-127)
