  • It’s Memorial Day so you know the guys will be ready to hit bombs all over the place
  • See below for my +2301 home run parlay today (May 22nd)

Do you ever get that feeling that something great is about to happen? Like, you don’t know what is going to happen, but you know it’s going to be awesome. I just got that feeling when I opened up my laptop to write this article. I don’t want to get anyone too fired up, but I think that awesome thing that is going to happen is this dinger parlay hitting. I don’t really know what else it could be that would make sense. We’ve been so close over and over again this season, so the logical next step would be for us to hit this thing and stuff a ton of cash in our pockets. The crazy part is, I found two guys that I know are going yard so there is that too. The whole thing is just lining up perfectly. Feels right.

Please remember to play both legs straight for a 1/4 unit as well as a 1/4 unit two-leg parlay.

Monday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Kody Clemens to Hit a Home Run

We need to sneak up on the books with our first guy, and that’s what we’re doing with Kody Clemens. For starters, he’s Roger Clemens’ kid so naturally the books will think he’s a strikeout guy but he’s actually not. He’s more like a dinger guy. The kid hits bombs. We’ve all seen him do it.

Lucky for us, he smokes the pitch mix he’ll see tonight, so we should see one of those bombs I was just talking about.

Four-seam Fastball30%13%

As much as I love Kody, this is just as much about Zack Littell as anyone. He’s a dinger guy through and through. We’re talking 14 home runs surrendered in not even 60 innings of work. That’s crazy. On top of that, six of those bombs have been to left-handed hitters in only 97 plate appearances. All roads point to Kody Clemens socking a slider to the moon tonight. All we have to do now is bet on it. Feels right.

Monday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Oneil Cruz to Hit a Home Run

We have to finish this thing off with a guy we know for a fact will get loose tonight. I can’t think of one other guy on the planet I would rather bet than Oneil Cruz. Going through his exit velocity logs, it looks like a crime scene. Bright red boxes everywhere so we know he’s in good form.

On top of that, he’ll see a guy in Ryne Nelson that basically just throws four-seam fastballs to left-handed hitters. As we can see, Cruz smokes those.

PitchOneil Barrel Rate vs RHP (L30 Days)Nelson Hard-Hit Rate vs LHB (2025)
Four-seam Fastball14%54%

The thing with Nelson is, he doesn’t really give up the long ball. He has only given up three this season in 31 innings of work. Lucky for us, Oneil Cruz is a pitcher proof as any guy in the world today. We just saw him hit the hardest ball ever recorded in Statcast history yesterday, which doesn’t bode well for Nelson. My guess is, Cruz sends the first four-seamer he sees into to space, which will end up stuffing a bunch of cash in our pockets in the process. Feels right.
