Tuesday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Evan Carter to Hit a Home Run

I can already smell the cash on this one, people. It smells good too. When we’re looking for our home run bets, sometimes it’s best to grab an “undercover guy.” The books rarely see a move like that coming. With that in mind, I can tell you with certainty, Evan Carter is the best “undercover guy” on the slate tonight.

Just look at how he abuses fastballs from righties.

Obviously, we’ll need a little help from the opposing pitcher on this thing, and we’ll get it from Seth Lugo. On the season, he’s given up 12 home runs in only 70 full innings of work. That’s not great. But what’s great for us is the fact that nine of those bombs came from the bats of left-handed hitters. Evan Carter is left-handed. He also smokes everything Lugo throws, so we’re in a great spot here. This almost feels too easy.

What we need now is a guy who will 100% come through for us. Someone we can trust with our Dinger Tuesday lives and that guy is Nick Kurtz. This kid is absolutely on fire at the moment and it’s like the books don’t even care. They’re still pricing him in the him +400s. Just nasty work by them.

The haters are going to say that this guy can’t hit a home run tonight because he hit one in each of the last two games. That’s just crazy talk by the haters. We’re talking Nick Kurtz here, people.
