  • We’ve got another loaded MLB slate waiting for us on Wednesday, June 18
  • All that’s left for us to do now is find two guys that we know are going yard and throw them in a parlay
  • See below for my +3484 home run parlay today

We’re about to get hotter than hot, I can feel it. I don’t even know if there’s a name for hotter than hot, but whatever it is, that’s what we’re going to be. We’ve been very steady in lately in picking guys that are smoking baseballs, so we should probably just keep doing that. It didn’t really help us yesterday, but both guys we took smoked a few balls; they just didn’t clear a fence. It happens. Lucky for us, we’ve got another loaded slate in the MLB for today, so it should be easy to find two guys that we know for a fact are hitting dingers. In fact, I already found two guarantees so we’re good there. If you don’t want to sift through the entire board, just tail mine. Feels easy.

Please remember if you’re going to play these two bets, play both legs straight for a 1/4 unit as well as a 1/2 unit two-leg parlay. That way, you’re only risking one unit, and you’ll profit with just one player going yard.

MLB Home Run Parlay Today (June 18)

PickOdds
Max Kepler HR+540
Gavin Sheets HR+460
Two-Leg Parlay+3484

Altogether, both legs of today’s home run parlay generate +3484 odds at FanDuel, so a $100 bet would profit $3,484 if both legs hit.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Max Kepler to Hit a Home Run

Max Kepler is quickly flying up my list of Max’s in sports. If he hits a home run tonight, he could easily claim the number one Max in all of sports (Max Crosby is currently number one). A friend and I tested him out over the weekend, and he came through for us. He hit a ball to space that day so he’s in good form.

One quick look at what he’s been doing to four-seam fastballs over the last month shows just how good of form he’s in.

The beauty of tonight is the fact that he’s going to see Adam Mazur of the Miami Marlins. Mazur has been pitching in the minors all season, and while he hasn’t been bad, he’s been stroked a little. Especially by lefties. We’re talking 11 home runs in just 59 innings of work. Seven of those dongs have been to left-handed hitters. The last guy Mazur wants to see is Max Kepler but there’s nothing he can do about it. If you’re in the bleachers in right field in Miami tonight, bring a glove. Feels right.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Gavin Sheets to Hit a Home Run

My favorite way to bet dingers is to take one guy in the early slate and then grab one from the late slate. That way, the action just goes on all night. It’s really the perfect plan when you think about it. It gets even more perfect when you have a bopper like Max, followed by a bopper like Gaving Sheets.

I mean, it’s borderline illegal what he’s doing to four-seam fastballs from righties over the last month.

Obviously pitch matters and Sheets is getting a great matchup with Emmet Sheehan. Like Mazur, Sheehan is making his season debut tonight. He’s coming off a long Tommy John-induced break, and he’s finally ready to resume his career. While he has been good in the minors, he did give up two dingers in his last start. Both were to left-handed hitters. Gavin Sheets is left-handed. This whole thing is just coming together. Feels easy.
