- NASCAR’s Quaker State 400 takes place at the EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia
- Joey Logano won the pole, but Josh Berry and Ryan Blaney were close behind.
- Below, see my NASCAR Quaker State 400 predictions, odds, and best bets.
EchoPark Speedway is a 1.54-mile quad-oval course with the feel of an extended superspeedway. There is a reason why some drivers do not call this an intermediate. The race should last around 3 to 3 1/4 hours, and the stage setup is 60-100-100. Joey Logano netted the pole, and the first eight cars were all from Ford. With all three Penske cars inside the Top 4, there was a familiar level of domination (see the last Atlanta race).
The table below lists the Quaker State 400 odds (winner, top three, and top five) for the favorites and a few racers who could get into the checkered flag mix. Further down in the article, I have listed my Pocono predictions and longshots worth taking a second look at.
NASCAR Quaker State 400 Betting Odds
At +700 odds, the implied probability for Ryan Blaney to win the race is 12.5%. Joey Logano drops in at +900 (10%), with Austin Cindric (+1000) not too far off. Kyle Larson stands down at +1600 for this race, but is still +450 in the NASCAR Cup Series odds. William Byron (+500) stays right there to snatch the series title.

NASCAR Quaker State 400 Predictions
The weather will be quite muggy on Saturday night. The forecast banks on a chance of scattered thunderstorms during the evening hours. Race conditions could be considered questionable given the weather delays the Xfinity series experienced on Friday night.
Qualifying saw Ford cruise to the pole as Joey Logano edged Josh Berry by the width of a credit card. Ryan Preece and Brad Keselowski qualified fifth and sixth but looked like they had speed to share too. It felt like Toyota and Chevy cars just struggled. Some slowed more than others, including Denny Hamlin way back in 33rd. Even Kyle Larson ended up outside the Top 10 in 11th. Meanwhile, Chase Elliott will start in 15th.
Again, this was one of the stranger qualifying efforts of the season. Lightning delays aside, there was this feeling that some drivers were less than pleased.
With 31-second laps expected, the Atlanta race could very well bring its own brand of chaos.
The track at Atlanta features four turns in all. EchoPark Speedway has 24-degree banking on the turns and five degrees along the back. Ford dominated the entire race last year as all three Team Penske cars finished in the Top 10. Logano won, but Blaney and Cindric monopolized the stages.
One gets the feeling that Ryan Blaney is the favorite despite not winning the pole. Blaney carries extremely good late speed, and Josh Berry took advantage of the conditions, got out early, and just missed out on the pole.
Now, with Ford having the hammer early. Ryan Blaney has been so good at Atlanta with an average finish of 6.7 over the last seven races. He has done everything but win. It may be that time.

Some More Atlanta Best Bets
Alas, it is always fun to go exploring more best bets. Do not forget that the In-Season Tournament starts this week. Denny Hamlin, William Byron, and Kyle Larson are co-favorites at +500. That might be a race to flip a coin or several on. After all, this event could be different.
Yes, fuel management should hopefully be less of a factor this week. Blaney is almost even money (-110 via FanDuel) to finish inside the Top 5. If there is any rain, that will change things dramatically. One more fun, longer shot to consider may again be Ryan Preece (+4000 to win). Preece can easily stay in the draft during the final 100 laps, much like what happened last week.
Finally, if there is one Chevy I would consider, it would be Chase Elliott. Elliott is now +1200 as he did win in 2022. That was followed by William Byron in 2023. The Hendrick Racing No. 9 comes off back-to-back Top 5 finishes, and a win may finally happen.
