- We’ve got a full MLB slate to attack on Wednesday, August 13
- There is no way for the books to avoid our dinger wrath on a day like today
- See below for my +1660 home run parlay today
We survived another Dinger Tuesday, and damn it, it was spectacular. After all was said and done, we saw 37 balls clear a fence. Each one was just as glorious as the one before it. But now it’s time to turn the page and direct our attention to Wednesday. It’s a forgotten day in MLB, but one that is just as good as Dinger Tuesday. On most Wednesdays, we’re looking at a full slate. The only difference is that the Wednesday slate is usually a mixture of day and night games. We’re talking 12+ hours of action here, people. We need to look alive.
While I’m focusing on two night games, don’t be afraid to go searching for a little afternoon delight. It’s all deadly especially when we consider the fact that we have this absolute banger waiting for us tonight. Feels right.
Please remember if you’re going to play these two bets, play both legs straight for a 1/4 unit as well as a 1/2 unit two-leg parlay. That way, you’re only risking one unit total, and you’ll profit with just one player going yard.
MLB Home Run Parlay Today (August 13)
Altogether, both legs of today’s home run parlay generate +1660 odds at FanDuel, meaning a $100 bet would profit $1,660 if both legs hit.

HR Parlay Leg #1 – Max Muncy to Hit a Home Run
We’ll start tonight in the City by the Bay, Anaheim, California. We’ve got a huge game between the Dodgers and Angels, and if we’re being honest with ourselves, we need to have a piece of this thing. There are going to be multiple dongs passed around this stadium tonight, so we need to be locked in.
Lucky for us, Max Muncy jumps off the page as a guy who should flash his junk at least once tonight.
The thing with Max is, he’s ruthless. He doesn’t even care who is on the mound; he’s going to try to baptize him. Lucky for Max (and us), it’s Kyle Hendricks. Max knows him, and he has hit him over the fence in the past. Hendricks likes to throw the changeup and sinker to lefties more than 75% of the time, which is huge for Max (and us). So far this season, Max has six dingers on those two pitches from righties. He’s got another six on the four-seam fastball, which is the other pitch Hendricks uses versus lefties. I’d be shocked if Max doesn’t splash one in the ocean tonight. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Max Muncy to Hit a Home Run (+340) at FanDuel

HR Parlay Leg #2 – Brandon Lowe to Hit a Home Run
About a half hour after the Angels and Dodgers get going, we’ll see the Rays and A’s start their battle. Why is that important? Because this game will be played in a minor league ballpark where nukes are hit on the regular. Between both teams, there are plenty of bangers to choose from, which makes our lives easier.
The one that stands out the most to me is Brandon Lowe. The man demolishes the pitch mix he’ll see tonight.
If we’re being honest, we just got lucky with this one. I mean, the idea that Brandon Lowe is facing off with JT Ginn in a minor league venue doesn’t even feel fair. For starters, JT is a known dinger-giver-upper. We’re talking a 2.9 HR/9 to left-handed hitters this season. He likes to go with a sinker and a cutter that look like they were made to fly in a lab. What’s better is, Lowe smokes both of those offerings from righties. I don’t want to give any spoilers for this game, but Lowe is definitely homering at least once. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hit one in every at-bat. Feels right.
- The Bet: Brandon Lowe to Hit a Home Run (+300) at FanDuel
