College Football Picks Today: Best Bets for Week 2 (Sep. 6)

- We’ve been blessed with more College Football action with Week 2 wrapping up on Saturday, September 6
- There is no way we can just not bet this thing, so we’ll need to lock in right now
- See below for both of my Week 2 nukes that the books will never see coming
Week 1 of college football was incredible. We had action, excitement, and heartbreak. In terms of this article, we got our teeth kicked in with Clemson and Texas. But here’s the thing: there’s no reason for us to worry. We took a little profit home in Week 0, and once we win both of these bets, we’ll be right back in profit town where we belong.
The good part about College Football is that the books give out profit boosts like they’re candy. Every single week, we’ve got a boost for this game and a boost for that game. It’s hard to keep up sometimes. We’ve got boosts falling out of our pockets!
Luckily, the boost shower continued this week, and I’ve found the perfect way to use them. We’re going to be so rich after this. Feels good.

Week 2 College Football Pick #1 – Fresno State Might Be Good
What we need in our lives right now are team totals. When it comes to College Football, they might be the most fun bet on the board each week. I’m serious, think about it. And on top of being incredibly fun, they can be lucrative. All we have to do is find teams that the books are sleeping on, and then hammer them into oblivion.
We can start this week with a little team called Fresno State. They had guys running all over the place last week, and they still aren’t getting the respect they deserve.
The best thing that happened to Fresno State is the fact that they played Kansas in their first game. Why? Because Kansas should be able to stop the run relatively speaking. The Bulldogs need to be able to move the ball on the ground to put points on the board. It’s as simple as that. Just look what they did to Georgia Southern last week. It looked illegal. They haven’t been that good on the ground in over a decade.
Now fast-forward to this week, and they’ll head to Corvallis to get it on with the Beavers of Oregon State. Obviously, weird stuff happens in Corvallis, but we’re not asking the Bulldogs to go up there and win.
We just need 22+ points. Oregon State just gave that up in three quarters last week to California. The Golden Bears were able to move the ball on the ground, which opened up their passing game. We should expect Fresno State to do the same thing this week. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Fresno State Team Total Over 21.5 (+142) at FanDuel (With Boost)

Week 2 College Football Pick #2 – Oklahoma Is Going To Go Off
Fresno State should have its bet covered by 5:00 pm on the East Coast, so we’re going to need something for the late games. Lucky for us, we’ve got a real banger going off on National TV with the Michigan Wolverines and Oklahoma Sooners. If we’re being honest, this is the perfect opportunity for us gamblers to get a little action down.
One thing we know for sure, the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium will be rocking.
The other thing I’m sure of is the fact that Oklahoma’s quarterback, John Mateer, is going to sling the ball all over the place. He’s got weapons everywhere, and he’s not afraid to use them. We’re talking Keonte Lewis, Jaren Kanak, and Deion Burks here, people. This isn’t some BS passing attack.
Obviously, defense matters, but Michigan is being priced like they are still elite. We just watched them give up 17 points last week to basically a Junior College. The kicker is, they allowed those 17 points while only giving up 4.5 yards per pass attempt. It’s not crazy to think Oklahoma could double that in this game. When that happens, they’ll score way more than 26 points. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Oklahoma Sooners Team Total Over 25.5 (+114) at DraftKings (With Boost)
