  • The Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders meet on Monday Night Football tonight
  • The only thing left to do at this point is find two bangers that have no chance of losing for Bet #4 of our Ladder Challenge
  • See below to find the best Chargers vs Raiders same-game parlay for Sep. 15

We’re obviously locked in at this point on our $10 to $10K Ladder Challenge. The mission was simple. Win 10 bets in a row and rollover our winnings each time. At the end of 10 bets, our original $10 bill will have turned into $10K. We’ve completed three bets so far, and it’s looking like we’re just going to blow through this thing like the champions we are.

One note for those who have followed the first three bets: we can take our original $10 out now. The reason I do that is so there is no risk of a loss. Anyone will tell you that $10K freerolls are fun, and this one is no exception. Now let’s move on to the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders same-game parlay.

LAC vs LV Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Quentin Johnston Will Show Up

Reception props is where I like to go for these legs if I can. Generally speaking, we can get some very low bars to clear in the receiving games if we just buy low on some of these guys. It’s still early in the season so the books are still trying to hone in on these guys’ roles. That creates an opportunity for us geniuses.

When we talk about “buy low” spots, there isn’t one better than Quentin Johnston.

Last season, I was watching a primetime game with my wife when we watched Johnston commit the worst drop I’d ever seen. I actually told my wife that it’s ok because he’s the first openly blind player in the NFL. She legit believed me after this drop. It was that bad.

But here’s the thing, Johnston isn’t blind. He is a former first-round pick who is actually looking like a first-round talent. Over his last six games, he has caught fewer than five balls just once. That night, he caught three, so it wasn’t like he was MIA. The reason I bring that up is because he’s obviously part of what the Chargers want to do offensively. The idea that he catches fewer than three passes tonight is crazy. Feels easy.

Chargers vs Raiders SGP Pick #2: Omarion Hampton Doesn’t Play Around

Since we only need Johnston to catch three passes, we can look to the Chargers’ side for another move. After all, three passes is nothing, so if they are going to be competitive, other guys will have to step up. That’s just how the NFL works.

Lucky for us, Los Angeles just drafted a kid named Omarion Hampton to play running back, and Jim Harbaugh loves him.

The haters are going to say that Hampton only had 48 yards in Week 1, but as usual, the haters have no idea what they are talking about. For starters, if Hampton were to do that again tonight, we could cash. Second, that was his first-ever NFL game, and it was against a very strong Kansas City Chiefs team. Again, he still ran for 40+ yards, which is all we need him to do tonight.

He’s getting a Raiders’ defense that isn’t terrible, but at the same time, they look like they can get it. Given that Hampton is working in a Greg Roman offense, we have to believe he will run the ball 15+ times. If that happens, he’s going way over 40 yards. Feels easy.
