College Football Picks Today: Best Bets for Week 4 (Sep. 20)

We did it again last week. What did we do? Stuffed a bunch of cash in our pockets! I’m telling you right now, my favorite thing about the college football season so far is the fact that we get profit boosts every single week. I’m not talking the parlay ones either. While those are nice, the boosts we can use on straight bets are even better. We can legit turn almost any bet into a plus-money banger with the click of a button. Why is that important? Because all we have to do is hit half of our moves, and we profit. How hard is that?

This week is no different in terms of boosts. I’m thinking we start with the Taylor and Will boost from FanDuel on the Michigan/Nebraska game. Then, we can turn our attention to the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes. Caesars has a boost for that game, which makes it perfect.

This could easily go down as the greatest day of our lives. Maybe better.

Week 4 College Football Pick #1 – Michigan Will Need To Be At Their Best

Our first bet of the day will be on the Michigan/Nebraska game. If we’re being honest, there’s no better bet on the board to start with. This game has everything. History, pageantry, the whole nine.

While history might not do it for everyone, it’s pretty much all Nebraska has at this point.

I’m not a Nebraska hater by any means. I actually like the Cornhuskers, but it’s been a tough stretch for them. When I was a kid, they were a national powerhouse. Fast-forward to today, and they look more like a doormat. The thing is, the doormat days might be coming to an end with Dylan Raiola.

The Cornhuskers are 3-0 so far this season, and Raiola looks as good as advertised. In fact, I would be taking them to win this game if it weren’t for the fact that they haven’t played anyone yet. 3-0 is nice and all, but wins over Akron and Houston Baptist really don’t do it for me. Sure, the Cincinnati win was nice, but the Bearcats aren’t the Wolverines. They’re just not.

I know the haters are going to say that the Wolverines haven’t beaten anyone yet, and they’re right. Still, they’re finding their footing after going on the road and getting beaten by a very good Oklahoma team. They’re battle-tested, and they’re only allowing opponents to run for 2.7 yards a carry. I’m thinking they slow down the Nebraska offense on Saturday and come away with a road win. Feels easy.

Week 4 College Football Pick #4 – Florida And Miami Can Score

One thing about growing up in Florida is that the football is electric. There are studs on every single high school roster, and by the time these guys get to college, they’ve been competing against each other for years. Who knows how many stories like that exist in this game on Saturday, but there have to be more than a few.

One thing we know for sure, College Gameday will be there, so these kids will need to look alive.

Stories don’t pay the bills, so we need to focus on finding a bet. Lucky for us, I think we can use our boost at Caesars for the total in this game. It just makes sense.

Originally, I saw Florida and thought under, but then I realized one thing. This is the marquee game on Saturday night. We’re talking ABC here, people. National television. This is not the kind of event where we can feel good about having an under.

Then I started to look into Miami’s offense. These kids have dropped 40-burgers in each of the last two weeks. Sure, those burgers were against weak opponents, but anyone with a brain will tell you that a 40-burger is a 40-burger.

Given what we saw out of Florida’s defense last week, they could easily give up the 51 points we need for this over by themselves. I’m thinking we’re looking at a 38-17 type game here, and if you’re familiar with math, then you know that’s more than 51 points. Feels easy.
