- We’re looking at one of the greatest College Football Week 5 slates in the history of College Football Week 5 slates on Saturday, September 27
- We’re talking Penn State/Oregon and Alabama/Georgia at the same damn time
- See below for the way I’m playing this absolute smash situation
We’re simply on fire at this point. It’s just week after week of profiting in this article, and honestly, we deserve it. We’re good people who like to throw down on a little College Football every week. There’s nothing wrong with that. Lucky for us, we’ve got two of the best football games that could actually be played going on at the same time Saturday night.
Some people are complaining about the games being played at the same time, but if we’re being serious, two marquee games at the same time is glorious. We’re going to need to figure out how to use our boosts because FanDuel is just throwing them at us right now. We’re talking 50% on both games. It legit feels like Christmas. We can make almost any move a plus-money banger, which means all we have to do is hit one to profit for the week. Spoiler alert, we’re hitting both. Feels easy.

Week 5 College Football Pick #1 – Penn State and Oregon Might Score 100 Points
I’m an SEC guy; I’ve always been. Not my fault, though. I’m from the south, so I was born into it. Still, all that aside, the game I’m looking forward to the most is the Oregon Ducks vs. Penn State Nittany Lions jumpoff. This thing literally has everything.
We’re talking about a quarterback from Oregon who could legit win the Heisman ,and nobody is talking about him.
Dante Moore is nasty. We’re talking about nasty, nasty. The guy has already thrown for almost 1000 yards on the season, and it’s not even October. Sure, the Ducks really haven’t played anyone but they’ve kicked the crap out of literally everyone they’ve played, so there is that. They were given their schedule, they didn’t make it.
The reason I bring up Dante Moore is that we need Oregon to score in this game if we have any hope of going over the posted total. We’re sitting on 51.5, so we need all the help we can get. After seeing Oregon on the road against Northwestern, I’m thinking they can approach a 30-burger in this thing, because Penn State’s defense is not what it was last season.
We’re kind of guessing here, being that Penn State has played the easiest schedule in the country so far. With that being said, once Oregon moves the ball on them, Drew Allar has the acumen to match scores. Totals are about game flows in College Football, and this one has all the makings of a 31-27 type thriller. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Oregon/Penn State Over 51.5 (+118) at FanDuel (With Boost)

Week 5 College Football Pick #2 – Georgia Isn’t Getting Beat at Home
I know I said I’m looking forward to the Penn State/Oregon game more than Bama/Georgia, but I lied a little. I can’t wait for this thing to get going. When it comes to the SEC, we can talk stats all we want, but none of that ends up mattering. The SEC is about vibes, and damnit, Georgia has all the vibes.
They also have a kid who runs at the speed of light.
Sure, Georgia has Zachariah Branch, but they are so much more than just him. We just saw them pull out a thriller in Knoxville last week, and that thing took the entire team. Gunner Stockton is absolutely loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball, and it looks unfair at times.
Now, Stockton and friends welcome a Bama side that went to Tallahassee, FL, a couple of weeks ago and got smoked by the Seminoles. Not to take anything away from FSU, but they are a far cry from Georgia. From where I’m sitting, the Crimson Tide has a 0.0% chance of going into Athens and covering 2.5 points. This feels easy.
- The Bet: Georgia Bulldogs ML (+121) at FanDuel (With Boost)
