Here’s the thing with Patrick Mahomes, he’s still good. It feels like ages since we’ve seen “400+ yards in a game” Patrick Mahomes, but that doesn’t mean he stinks. Offenses change, personnel changes, coordinators change. It is what it is.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that Patrick Mahomes still has a rocket for a right arm, and he’s ready to use it on Monday Night Football.

Here’s the thing with the Chiefs. Over the last few years, their defense has been legit. When that happens, the quarterback isn’t asked to do very much through the air. Everyone knows that. That’s why taking a Patrick Mahomes passing yards over prop hasn’t really been the best idea for a while. That’s all changing now, and we’re here for it.

So far this season, the Chiefs’ defense hasn’t been great, and that’s led to Mahomes throwing the ball all over the field. In four games so far, he’s thrown for 224+ yards in three of them. Don’t even get me started on the fact that Jake Browning went for 241 on these guys, and he didn’t even play the whole game! Mahomes could have 200+ passing yards by halftime tonight.

It’s tough to think of Patrick Mahomes and not think of Travis Kelce. Those two have been synonymous for years, and that hasn’t changed even with Taylor Swift in the mix now. We’re talking about an unbreakable bond here, people.

Now he’s going to see a Jaguars team that has allowed at least five receptions to the tight end position in each of their last three games. Teams can move the ball through the sir on them and they’ve been using the tight ends to do it. At the end of the day, we have to ask ourselves, “If Patrick Mahomes throws for 200+ yards, will Kelce have four of those receptions?” The answer is yes. Feels easy.
