College Football Picks Today: Best Bets for Week 11 (Nov. 8)

• We’ve made it to another week, which means we’re blessed with another stacked College Football slate for Saturday, November 8
• I’m thinking we can go right back to the quarterbacks this week because they owe us money at this point

Look alive, people, we’re going in early today. Everybody knows that the early bird gets the worm, and this week is no different. Generally speaking, the College Football slate starts at high noon every Saturday on the East Coast. And if we’re being honest with ourselves, those are the wildest games every week. I don’t know if it’s because the kids have to wake up early on a Saturday, and that affects their performance or what. All we know for sure is that it’s a “thing”. So being the sharps that we are, the smartest thing we can do at this point is back a couple of quarterbacks from the early slate to go over their passing yards props. What could possibly go wrong? Feels easy.

Week 11 College Football Pick #1 – Blake Shapen Is Our Way To Financial Freedom

If you’re asking yourself, “Where have I heard the name Blake Sharpen before?”, it’s from this article a couple of weeks ago. We had him to go for 225+ against Texas, and he dropped a 300-burger on them. The kid proved he could stuff cash in our pockets.

The good news is, he hasn’t stopped throwing dimes since that day.

Here’s the deal. We need to find quarterbacks on teams that are underdogs playing teams that stop the run. Once we do that, we make a gut call on whether that quarterback can keep his team in the game long enough to go over his passing yards prop. It feels very Ocean’s Elevenish of us, but it’s actually as easy as taking candy from a baby. Maybe easier.

We already know our guy Blake can make it rain. The kid has gone for 240+ in each of his last two games. Today, he’ll see the Georgia Bulldogs, who boast a top-20 run defense. On top of that, their offense will light up the Mississippi State defense. When that happens, our guy Blake will be forced to throw the ball all over the field. We only need 225+ yards here for plus money. Feels easy.

Week 11 College Football Pick #2 – Bear Bachmeier Could Retire Us Today

The idea of another Bachmeier in College Football is crazy. I don’t know how many Bachmeiers there are, but there has to be a farm of them somewhere because they just seem to keep showing up in College Football. (Maybe there was just one other one, but whatever. It feels like there have been a million of them.)

The thing about this one is, his name is Bear, but he’s an absolute dawg.

This is the same setup as the Blake play. We’re backing a quarterback who is playing a very good run defense. In this case, Bear is going to see Texas Tech, which ranks third best in stopping the run this season. The only difference here is that Bear and BYU will be on the road. Still, I think we can move on with this.

While Texas Tech is good against the run, they’ll give it up in the pass game if you ask nicely. Both Jalon Daniels and Sam Leavitt have gone for 225+ against them in the last month. Hell, Avery Johnson just went for 199 last week, and he can barely throw a forward pass. All we need is a little 200+ day from Bachmeier, and we’re stuffing cash in our pockets. Feels easy.
